I knew it. When I watched the second movie it just seemed like there was something missing in the Anakin-Padme scenes... aww, they should've put these in the movie!
About the more advanced technology in the prequels, yeah that has bothered me. There's no evidence of these various kinds of flying cars, battle droids, analysis droids, or several alien species in the original trilogy. Not to mention, Obi-Wan and Yoda never bother to tell Luke about the prophecy... But I suppose limb-replacement technology improved, as Anakin's hand looks machine-like, while Luke's looks like a real hand.
To delete a couple of these scenes was sheer stupidity. They showed that Padme already had some feelings for Anakin as well, so it wouldn't have seemed like they fell in love instantly within a few days. The film as a whole still wouldn't have been that great, but at least this very important subplot would have worked a little better. (Although it still doesn't make sense why she would marry a fascism-supporting mass murderer.)

I really wish the family and bedroom scenes hadn't been deleted. Anakin got along well with the Naberries, and seems to like them. In fact, he told Padme that he thought she had a wonderful family in the AOTC novelization. And the bedroom scene reveals more about Padme's character. I'm especially bothered by the family scenes being deleted, because it shows the more positive apsects of Anakin/Padme's relationship.
The first one did little to move the plot forward? It explains why he went to see a fry cook, I know in that scene he side he had already analyzed it but its just cool to see the Jedi forensics lab.
They wouldn't have deleted those scenes with Padmé in the sexy outfit if they had realized that's the only thing the CGI-laden borefest had going for it. Verily, if her relationship with Anakin was a platonic one, I think she would have worn something a little less revealing. As a horny 13-year-old, I left the theatre satisfied solely because of what that cat thing did for audiences during the execution arena battle on Geonosis. Funny how in this, Obi Wan doesn't have faith in Anakin, and Mace does. But in 3, Mace seems like he wants to beat the shit out of Anakin, and Obi Wan has faith in him.

I think they were mostly cut out for the theatrical length. Hopefully we'll see some of these back in the picture one day. Cause a lot of these re really good scenes and they are important character scenes.

I loved the scene on the landing platform. It showed that Obi-Wan knew how Anakin felt about Padme. Sort of like a father who's worried about his son's relationships! loved it!
I also loved the scene at Padme's house! Everything about it was great! It shouldn't have been cut!!!

@LeonNizam actually it's also kind of fucked-up. because the Jedi knew that JANGO was the original template for the clones that are [SUPPOSEDLY] fighting FOR *THE REPUBLIC*, and they ALSO know that Jango was part of the SEPARATISTS ALSO because the Jedi saw him standing next to Dooku and killing Jedi and stuff.
it's really fucked-up how the Jedi didn't put two and two together. it shows you how well Palpatine was manipulating everybody and everyTHING. (but then again, this is how George Lucas..
@LeonNizam ..wanted to write it. in the story, the Emperor won, the Republic was changed to the Empire, the Jedi became [almost] [COMPLETELY] 'extinct' and they had to hide from the public eye. George had to write everything so that everything falls into place and lands and/or gets to where Episode 4 ends up [and/or starts].
Padme's sisters must have Autism or something - they laugh way too much for no reason. Padme dresses like a space tramp - not a good example for her sisters
The second scene didn't make the Jedi look weak, having a Sith in their midst without their knowledge, and the way Palpatine manipulated them, made them look weak.
There's a scene that never got filmed or included on the DVD where Dooku uses a blue lightsaber & his own Curved lightsaber in his duel against Yoda. There was a photo of it on one of the SW fansites but it's never been filmed.
Yet you see it in all the storybooks and picture books. Same thing as Darth Maul screaming as he falls to his death. Not seen in the final cut but it can be seen in the storybooks
THAT's why there was no connection with Dooku and the story. He's allegiance wasn't supposed to be known until the end of the film!!!. Why would you do that to use LucasFilms? WHY!? Yall should have gotten BioWare to make your story line, they did a great job with KOTOR, maybe they could have at least made the underlying backbone for this movie.
Well I have to agree with you, though its to Goerge Lucas to decide which scene is important and which is not. Its not my fault that the scenes that are horrible were uncut and the scenes that are great were being cut.
They dont have a choice. They have to cut some scenes otherwise the movie would be to lengthy and longer films costs more. Besides other more important scenes can't be shown as they would had been taken up by these scenes that are meant to be deleted.
They should have kept the Padme and Anakin scene :`-(

I feel , in like the year ( 2020 ), all 6 films will be on Blue Ray DVDS', & it will be recieved Very Well. Gone with the Wind was a Flop at first !
Also, I love this scene, these are Luke & Leias Grandparents they never knew. Interesting.

I also loved the scene at Padme's house! Everything about it was great! It shouldn't have been cut!!!

@meluvstarwars while i agree with the first point, i should say the way it was portrayed is awful, teh CGi is bad and the characters look obviously out of place and delusional as to whats happening around them. And Obi-Wan's figher even takes off right when WIndu is behind the engines, he would probably get a burn, and any way, its not safe to be around ships when they take off

@LeonNizam actually it's also kind of fucked-up. because the Jedi knew that JANGO was the original template for the clones that are [SUPPOSEDLY] fighting FOR *THE REPUBLIC*, and they ALSO know that Jango was part of the SEPARATISTS ALSO because the Jedi saw him standing next to Dooku and killing Jedi and stuff.
it's really fucked-up how the Jedi didn't put two and two together. it shows you how well Palpatine was manipulating everybody and everyTHING. (but then again, this is how George Lucas..

@LeonNizam ..wanted to write it. in the story, the Emperor won, the Republic was changed to the Empire, the Jedi became [almost] [COMPLETELY] 'extinct' and they had to hide from the public eye. George had to write everything so that everything falls into place and lands and/or gets to where Episode 4 ends up [and/or starts].

The second scene didn't make the Jedi look weak, having a Sith in their midst without their knowledge, and the way Palpatine manipulated them, made them look weak.

Did you upload all the scenes?
There's a scene that never got filmed or included on the DVD where Dooku uses a blue lightsaber & his own Curved lightsaber in his duel against Yoda. There was a photo of it on one of the SW fansites but it's never been filmed.
Yet you see it in all the storybooks and picture books. Same thing as Darth Maul screaming as he falls to his death. Not seen in the final cut but it can be seen in the storybooks

THAT's why there was no connection with Dooku and the story. He's allegiance wasn't supposed to be known until the end of the film!!!. Why would you do that to use LucasFilms? WHY!? Yall should have gotten BioWare to make your story line, they did a great job with KOTOR, maybe they could have at least made the underlying backbone for this movie.

Well I have to agree with you, though its to Goerge Lucas to decide which scene is important and which is not. Its not my fault that the scenes that are horrible were uncut and the scenes that are great were being cut.

They dont have a choice. They have to cut some scenes otherwise the movie would be to lengthy and longer films costs more. Besides other more important scenes can't be shown as they would had been taken up by these scenes that are meant to be deleted.
