Creation: the order by which organisms were said to have been created is wrong; it says that birds existed before land animals which we know is impossible because birds evolved from land animals, that fruit trees existed before fish, and that the first forms of life were land plants.

@kkornhaus It's also said that all of the "kinds" (whatever that means) of animals were created at the same time, but that's not what's shown in the fossil record. I assume cats are a particular kind according to creationists but cats aren't found in earlier strata, same with all mammalian species; cats and dogs did not exist at the same time as dinosaurs.
@kkornhaus If the bible were true then we'd find all sorts of organisms from all different orders mixed together in the fossil record which is impossible according to evolution which says that they didn't exist together. We should find modern species among very primitive species if the bible were true, but that's not what our observations show.
@kkornhaus The Flood: there are many different species of animals that are endemic to certain regions and would not be able to get to the ark, just as there are many animals with very restrictive diets that rely upon foods not found anywhere near Noah. If all of the different kinds of organisms were present on the ark then that means that the remainder of their respective kinds should have died in the flood, which would lead one to assume that such an event would be shown in the fossil record.

But if you can get real help I would because your condition could trigure up again. I am a Christian who believes the true words of Jesus, that the Kingdom of Heaven is actually inside each and every one of us. Thanks to the domination of the Church, this knowledge has been suppressed and denied for almost 2000 years. Anyone who believes that Heaven is somewhere in the clouds with Jesus sitting there next to his Father, probably still believes in Santa Claus too.
Getting to Heaven through Jesus means realizing your inner light, the light he taught us that we all have.
If the "Kingdom of Heaven is actually inside each and every one of us" then what does it mean to die and go to heaven? We know that our bodies rot after death, so where is heaven after that?
when you die, if you believe in God, you will go to the most wonderful place there ever was, nothing is bad there. believe me, when you get there, you wont want to leave. just think, no sickness, no relatives dying, no hurting, no pain, seeing Jesus face to face, our mortal mind cant grasp that. Jesus will make sure you are perfectly comfortable in heaven. have you ever heard the expression, 'heaven on earth' leave your eternal living arrangements to God.... He knows whats best. :-)

It is my opinion that our bodies decompose and become part of the living organism that is our beautiful planet. Our spirits, however, are invisible, eternal, and join that of Jesus and every other living thing in continuing the glory of life in God's Kingdom.

I used to think exactly the same, love and forgiveness were the only two commandments, but they aren't. Faith that Jesus is the only way because no one else ever gave their life for you, and also stay true to all the commandments as these are life saving, all have earthy consequences. We were told to confess ALL your sins - you'll be forgiven. Also we were told then TO TURN AWAY from sin, so not just confess it but also turn away from it.
The afterlife with Jesus has LAWS like a family home.

No because we have verifiable evidence for Tokyo we have reason to believe in Tokyo not God. Maybe a ant has no reason to believe in Tokyo but he has no such reason to even ponder it's existence. As for us we have a reason to ponder the likely hood that a Jewish Sanhedrin defied everything we know about the natural world and raised from the dead. We can look at the accounts of the Bible and see they are myth. We know bodies do not raise from the dead and Tokyo exists.

Also, there are prophecies in the bible that didn't happen as well as some that were flat-out wrong. @kkornhaus The main stories that conflict with science are the creation and flood myths, which seem to be pretty integral to Christianity's story. Creation: the order by which organisms were said to have been created is wrong; it says that birds existed before land animals which we know is impossible because birds evolved from land animals, that fruit trees existed before fish, and that the first forms of life were land plants.

I assume cats are a particular kind according to creationists but cats aren't found in earlier strata, same with all mammalian species; cats and dogs did not exist at the same time as dinosaurs.

We should find modern species among very primitive species if the bible were true, but that's not what our observations show.

@kkornhaus The Flood: there are many different species of animals that are endemic to certain regions and would not be able to get to the ark, just as there are many animals with very restrictive diets that rely upon foods not found anywhere near Noah. If all of the different kinds of organisms were present on the ark then that means that the remainder of their respective kinds should have died in the flood, which would lead one to assume that such an event would be shown in the fossil record.

I know you guys do not have health care in the US and the Church is a free place to get counseling for peoples psychofrenics and ex drug addics.
In Canada we do not have that problem people actually get real medical attention thats why we have 99% less murders than you guys. But if you can get real help I would because your condition could trigure up again. I believe the Church kind of helps these people gives them a place to vent their psychosis but in the end I am not sure.

Heaven on earth is abundance, fellowship and praise. Eternal heaven is paradise which we will share with the Heavenly Father, Jesus and his angels!

I am a Christian who believes the true words of Jesus, that the Kingdom of Heaven is actually inside each and every one of us. Thanks to the domination of the Church, this knowledge has been suppressed and denied for almost 2000 years. Anyone who believes that Heaven is somewhere in the clouds with Jesus sitting there next to his Father, probably still believes in Santa Claus too.
Getting to Heaven through Jesus means realizing your inner light, the light he taught us that we all have.

when you die, if you believe in God, you will go to the most wonderful place there ever was, nothing is bad there. believe me, when you get there, you wont want to leave. just think, no sickness, no relatives dying, no hurting, no pain, seeing Jesus face to face, our mortal mind cant grasp that. Jesus will make sure you are perfectly comfortable in heaven. have you ever heard the expression, 'heaven on earth' leave your eternal living arrangements to God.... He knows whats best. :-)

As long as you keep thinking that Heaven and Hell are actual PLACES to go, you will remain confused. No wonder so much of the world thinks we Christians are nuts. I recommend reading your scripture, wise one, and not getting hung up on metaphors.
Heaven is here, Now. Hell is the Ego that exists in our minds, keeping us separate from the rest of Creation. Keep your eyes open, "lest you die and seek to see Him and be unable to do so."
