No way this laser can make deep enough cuts to last a significant period of time. The laser etchings will probably only last 50-75 years before they wear off due to weathering, etc. What say you?
@beeroosterm The stone won't re-polish itself. They have been doing impact etching(non laser) in Europe for a long time. I don't work for this company or anything. I am a monument retailer. Sure you will se some fade over time. What about Litho it is gone way before 50 years or at least coming off.
@duffmorrow Went looking for some very old (late 17th century) family stones in Massachusetts as part of the family genealogy project. The stones in the best condition were slate; some over 300 years old. Amazing.
