yeah this was sad, and don't forget about Emmit Tiel. The little black kid not even a teenager who was accused of whistling at a white woman inside of a convenient store. Later on, during the night a group of adult white men kidnapped him and took them to a barn and literally pulverised the little boy for something none other than being black. They beat that kid until he was a hamburger meat. All the suspected men were acquitted. I bet you, there will be no full feature film about little Emitt

99% of the time I never shy away from movies, no matter how devastating, weird, scary etc. they may be. But this is that 1% where I'm never going to watch this movie.
It's just too heartbreaking. I've read about that case and I've been deeply affected by it and I just don't see how someone so INNOCENT can be destroyed.
Her own Dad neglected her by handing her over to a stranger, and then to make matters even worse, the stranger kills her!!
I swear, I don't have any respect for the human race.

Their parents were carnival people that needed to travel and their father asked Gertrude to look after the girls while they were gone.She did for 20.00$ a week. Their father didn't know Gertrude at all and didn't know she was a psycho. I am always deeply disturbed by this horror story! Rest in peace, Sylvia.:'(
