@samboy1288 How can they be a rip off when they started around the same time? And last time I checked, Dry Cell didn't add any electonica influences to their music... LP is famous for they're combination of electonica, utilizing programming, synthesizers, rap, scremo and hip hop... Dry Cell is just rock
@J0nesGal I agree with you except for Screamo. That wasn't even a genre until like 6 years ago. Linkin Park had subtle Hardcore influences, more appropriately East Coast Hardcore such as Hatebreed and Suicidal Tendencies. Dry Cell though is not just rock, they have some programming and even some reggae drum beats. Those are both characteristics of Nu Metal which Dry Cell and Linkin Park are.
@xund3r Don't think they officially have, but they haven't played a show in a long time now. They're tastes have changed as they've gotten older and Jeff is with BWNN as you mentioned. Judd and Brandon are more into hardcore/metalcore/deathcore now...It's sad really...
@CountLorcean doesnt explain why the voice sounds completely different between the two versions, or that LP is listed as having done a cover of this song
@umbergod It's also the same singer on both versions you have. Jeff Gutt. Dave Waiserski, (Dry Cell's other vocalist), doesn't have any released material with him on it, AFAIK. There's around 8 versions of this song: Music Video, QOTD Soundtrack, Impur Demo, Album version, Japan album import version, Advance version, Dry Cell sampler version, and the Madden version.
@TFRLIceman well then their singer went through some vocal changes because it sounds like two different people when you compare this version to the Queen of the Damned soundtrack version
Aaron Carter?
