NINE - Daniel Day-Lewis "sings" with an "Italian" accent

My God...is there anything this brilliant actor cannot do? What a multi-tasker!! I never thought I would see this day. I loved this movie & was very impressed with him & all of the beautiful talented ladies. Rob Marshall is such a great choreagrapher & director. Daniel Day-Lewis...always a favorite. Bravo!!

I didn't like the movie but i REALLY want to watch it again. Only bc of DDL's great performance.

the film wasnt great but i thought the acting was.

the film was let down by lousy direction and script. the third act was atrocious. imagine a lesser actor trying to hold that film together. DDL did great. (as did Dench, Cruz and Cottilard)

I respect DDL too much to sit idly by while he prances around on poles squealing "Guido! Guido! Guido! Guido!" and sings, "I would like to be Proust or the Marquis de Sade. I would like to be Christ, Muhammed, Buddha, and not have to believe in God" immortalized as part of his legacy...

Even in a bad film as you put it..DDL gives you so much...He can never do a bad performance because he is one of the greatest screen actors..Look at him close up work in this clip when he is talking to the journalist..Such slight mannerisms that are so effective
