I completely forgot about the existance of LEGO Monorail. I remember ONE official Monorail set from the mid-to-late 1980s.

Can anyone tell me how many OFFICIAL LEGO Monorail sets were released? So far from what I've Googled, it seems like there were TWO, but I could be wrong.

Yes, it's a combination of Space Monorail influences. I've never purchased a complete monorail set, just bits and pieces here and there. Still fun though!

Yes, a lot of the monorail parts were from ebay, I've only used bricklink once, and that was just to buy a ramp part. It's been fun building though I must say :)

Two of the sets were from the space monorail sets. However, we got them used so we never built them in their entirety.
