That movie is totally overrated! It's just the good old "Oh, no invaders

from outerspace (this time us) and nature destruction" theme. The pictures

are amazing but I don't think this movie deserves being called one of the best

movies that have ever been produced.

And to answer your question: it was just succesful because a whole bunch of guys

wanted to see something really cool in 3D. Who would read it asa a book.

I surely wouldn't. Maybe Matrix. YES. But not...

I never said i was better, but everycan can tell how some actors were miscasted, there were a lot of stereotypes (tomboys, prince charmings, etc.) and the actors just abused of "indicatives" in their work.

The fact is that Avatar never got any prize or nomination for acting awards (cause it sucked hard.)

Getting an award for Motion Capture is very hard and the actors and actresses did a phenomenal job. Nearly the whole movie was filmed inside a warehouse like place, could many other actors do tht, no.

Avatar got heaps of awards in other areas and has the highest grossing profit of all time, so tht tells u two things, Avatar is great all round and ur wrong.

@Blessthefall245 Well those 45 minutes of deleted scenes are not finished in CG, the 20 minutes taht Obnavo was refering to are in the actual "Director's cut" edition, where they finished the scenes with full CG...so the deleted scenes on the second disc are just those that were never truly finished, they most likely show those scenes with real actors jumping around with their motion capture suits or the "raw" version of the CG-animation, that doesnt look really good
