I dont get kids music was just at Dubstep night was thinking was my music this as meaningless i dont think so and it wasnt on a fucking laptop.Raindance twas fun .
This tune go's out to my very old and dear friend Cheeky from Margate kent, remember the vintage Bentley, the girls, the Champagne, the Ferry, then the drive to Amsterdam, we certainly were not rich or spoilt kids, we just got very very lucky for a short while in the dying days of the 1980's, man, they were some times.....................
i went to a house night at a local club the other nite, not one outstanding tune played allnite, whats happend to house music these days? i remember an out pouring of emotion when great tracks got played, dont bother going to Delicious at the brewery bar in whitstsable its shite.
this used to rock the Blackburn warehouse parties in 89...this and Lil Luois' Blackout. I'll never forget 89-90...sorry kids but you've got your scene and we had ours, but we were first! One house nation under a groove, no iTunes, or Pete Tong, if yu wanted these tunes only 2 shops in Manchester had them...and only one radio show played house for an hour a week (Stu Allen's House Hour anyone?)...proper underground, not trendy-student-indie-shit, not a 'hipster' in site, it was 'ours' :)
Aw yeah, this is the shit man i use to be at the warehouse dancing my ass off to this track every weekend. Chi-Town in a storm! Hell Yeah!! Thanks for the post.
Love this track...the original version...its the one that got me into the rave scene back in 89. This so reminds me of Mash Mash down Oxford Street, massive floor speaker pumping out tunes like this by the DJ in the basement...buying 12"' ..buying tops for the next rave...collecting the rave flyers...happy days..
@robackenson You were a part of a magical musical creation. I got into the scene in Toronto a little late in '94-'95, but the music (house, techno, trance, breaks) changed my life. For the better. Peace.
please please i dont understand how this tune gets 2 dislikes.....did they mistake it for the download link ??? either that or they are def, dumb and blind !!
The first time i heard this track was in the Sound Factory back in the spring of 1990...it had to be around 11am Junior mixed this to "bang the party" the crowd went nuts. Those where the good old days house music was truly at its peak. It will never be the same again.....
@TroyConvers5000 I wish everyone would stop saying "Back in the day this and back in the day that".I was and still am a DJ,i would have done anything for those dayz to go on and on,but i have such wonerful memories of one family under a roof or in a field. Thanks to the old bill and fucking greedy promoters the scene faded.People of today will never experience what we did then, but never say never,it might just come back, most things do. Peace,Brothers and Sisters................Bradley Jay...xx
I can not thankyou enough for posting this! I have been trying to figure who did this song since 1989 it was on a house music mix tape that I absolutely loved and than lost. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou!!!
@bubbahchops I have this problem with loads of chooon's that i hear but cant find the name and one thing i have figured out is .....it always comes to you in the end.......i had the same problem with this choon, One of the best tracks out there from the early dance age.
@bubbahchops ...I hear ya! I felt the same way about "Koro-Koro" by No Smoke...Puts you in the zone! ..Ya know, back in like '90 they had a pay-per-view video channel on Time Warner in NYC. "Pacific State" played dozens of times by countless viewers. . Ahhhh...God bless you guys
@kevinroxburgh1 Without tampering, this music would have never existed. It was tampering and 'sampling' that gave birth to house and as a result, this track among many others. Having said that, in this situation I also prefer the original.
Fuck! I just feel so blessed. 21yo - Hacienda one night, Thunderdome the next - these guys used to make that place kick. Used to have this version on vinyl too. Thx 4 uploading.
@TheCarbonfiend YES YES YES the 'Dome! Wearden's weirdness, the Spinmasters of 808 state used to DJ there on a Friday, as I remember. heady days. THE DOME, KONSPIRACY, SHELLEY'S, SHABOO, BLACKBURN WAREHOUSE PARTIES, THE HOUSE, QUADRANT PARK, THE SOUNDGARDEN RIP. Gone but not forgotten. And I'm sorry kids but the Hacienda was shite. Too many poseurs in late 89/90. (awaits lawsuit)
This tune has been with me all my life and I will take it to the grave also..... In heaven I will be playing this one thats for sure... Thats if I make it there... lol
I seriously think us oldies need to get a club going in london, playing nothing but balearic, new beat, house and those crazy eclectic styles from 1987-91. The real 'old school' stuff from the likes of Shoom at SE1, Clink Street, Spectrum, Rage and Future. I got a load on 12" from my DJing days... who's in?
Absolute classic and my ultimate favourite track of all times - I can actual remember going into a record shop and hearing this being played and asking what it was.....when he told me I had to have it, and it was the copy they were playing! Heavenly track that makes me melt each and every time I hear it.

Bottom line- This song is my favorite and always will be.
This tune is unmistakably the anthem of the acid house era. One of my all time favourite tracks from that era. Gto pure mixes so well into this tune. One love
i will never foget hearing this tune at sunrise and back to the future ( old school will know what i mean) and just as dawn broke this tune came on, what a buzz, never seen 10,000 people all dancing together on such a high and never will again!!!! happy happy times
Yo! Who remembers 'Legends' in Manchester? this was an absolute anthem then! and who remembers the dance crew ''Fusion Beat' - when this tune came on in Legends, all of the 'ok' fusion dancers (including myself) would immediately walk off the dance floor and dance around the sides coz everyone knew that Fusion Beat' would be coming on. Really nice guys too, I learnt so much from them, to be good at what you do, but humble at the same time - god bless you guys wherever you are. Peace
@tingling72 I was in legends when this was out, from partington and alti all us girls, I rememeber well, stu allen used to dj there, and rememeber twin hype do it to the crowd getting hammered..remember the all nighters and goin hulme to the blues parties, til 7am...in the flats ...........good times,,,,now its a gay club apparently....
