This one of the best poems I've ever heard ! I remember to have heard it for the first time watching the movie "Memphis Belle", in which it was told by Eric Stoltz before the last mission of the B-17 Memphis Belle over Germany. May be I'm wrong but i feel like echoes from this text (years later) in the poem "Do not go gentle into that good night" from Dylan Thomas. On the web you can find an extraordinary version of this text by Anthony Hopkins.
Hey Joe. i have searched for years to find a way to make this poem relevant and meaningful to my classes. i love the way you have interpreted it and will direct them to this site for a fuller understanding than my lessons can give them. Congrats!
Hi Joe, its great to see that your levels of creativity are as high as ever. This is 1.53 minutes of magic, great emotion together with your movie making talents have created a little jewel in the crown :)
Magnificent! Simple, yet incredibly moving. The key to a great FlightSim movie (any movie) is to bring out emotion, the human factor. This very short work of art stands alongside the famed "Requiem" as a masterpiece. S!
well done

Beautifully expressed and you have brought this poem to life, in the Irishman's death.
The reading of the poem is wonderful, The film is full of imagery which remains long after it ends. The mark of a great piece. Really well done.
