I have always been facinated by these films... I have traveled the entire country of Mexico from head to toe . In a car I traveled for three months and have seen most all there is to see. I have touched and felt the magic of the ancient Pyramids of the sun and the moon... gone inside the bowels of Palenque palace and seen the chariots of the gods... and more ~

FINALLY!!! a good looking movie that doesn't denigrate our culture and raza! it was about time that someone starts putting out the truth and REALITY of our traditions and knowledge!! congratulations to whoever made this movie posible. I will l like to share a history fact. what the director refers to as AZTECS should be change to MEXICAS. WE ARE MEXICAS, NOT AZTECS. Cant wait to see the movie.

I do not want to be rude, but I'm a bit confused. Ehe is a Nahua medicine man yet Tachi is with the Zapista collective which are mostly Mayan. Maybe clear it up a bit. Beyond that visuals look great.

Wow... Saw this several months ago. When will this Don Juan crap go away for real anthropology and legitimate folk practice? Practitioners of brujeria and curandismo in nearly 100% pure Indio, remote areas of Guerrero, Puebla and Oaxaca are absolutely nothing like this new age fluff. This sort of thing is an INSULT to both the memory of the Mexica and the modern indigenous peoples of Mexico. A year of research before making a film? Go talk to people who've been studying it for 30+, ie. Knab.
