@moseybear, don't worry your going to get just what's coming to you. Your dollars is going to zero, there will be open rebellion on the street, and you'll be in a major war, maybe they'll conscript you. But hell, you'll have a smooth talking teleprompter reading puppet with nice slick hair who looks good. God help you buddy. Being connned is an Amercian past time.
a lot of RP people worshiping going on around here. more of a sign of desperation. not that I blame people....rare that you get someone like RP who can survive the homogenizer and corruption of DC. but word of caution: It is best to worship ideas and not people. Ideas will seldom let you down..but people often do. hold dear the values of RP and less so the man. for if you do the latter, if the man goes, so goes the ideas.
I spoke the truth and all I got for my effort was this friggin coffee mug? LOL! RP's speech was good. He rambled a bit, took the bait questions unfortunately, but overall showed how he is substantially different. One problem: Most contemporary erosion of liberty results from the events of 9-11. Events of 911 = coup d'état. Reopen the investigation, with forensic non-political board. I think this will change RP's views about the 911 Commission. Also, 1% Wall Street tax, no foreclosures.
@moseybear The 911 commission already gave out their report, another report would do nothing if ppl dont want to listen to the truth given to them the first time. We also don't need more taxes, we need to cut spending. He didn't ramble, he was properly given time (unlike most QA settings for him) to explain his position and his stance. Ppl don't seem to understand history, they need to be educated in order to understand his points in context.
@fifthletteris Respectfully disagree. It is impossible to predict what another, unbiased investigation would yield. As for the truth, there is ample evidence to dispute 911 Commission. Sorry, overruled. It isn't a matter of "more" taxes, but rather, redistributing the taxes. Wall Streets pays nothing on over $1Q in transactions. Cutting spending irresponsibly is genocidal. Understand history? LOL. It is you who is obviously misinformed and uneducated. No problem debating that with you.
@fifthletteris As RP rambling....he moved erratically from one subject to another. "Time" has nothing to do with it. It is an issue of delivery. The host is a professional. See how he does it. Not fatal act, but noticeably. I prefer a better transition between topics. Put under...needs work. RP fails to address what he would do about current social programs. Would he simply abolish Social Security and Medicare leaving millions without an income? After paying into the system?
@moseybear I like it when the hosts are tough on Ron Paul, the only thing I wish is that they would be tough on everyone. Paul is a straight man, an idealistic guy. Those are his strengths. If he had the speaking ability of Tom Woods... one can only dream.
@PbDeth No doubt the MSM is biased. but, gotta love Dr P's response...basically, "so what?" good attitude! yes -- we must not lose sight of the message and pay less attention to the delivery. I was merely hoping for two-fer-- both. Last articulate POTUS was JFK. He had both. Dr P is a physician and not an attorney. To his credit. However, no harm in polishing up the delivery. After all, the idea is to set an example. Nothing wrong with dreaming, called hope. Here no false hope. peace
CALLING ALL RON PAUL SUPPORTERS! Campaigns need money to continue getting the word out. Travel expenses, food, lodging, staff, videos, etc.. They all cost money. They have been joined/endorsed by big government morons like Michael Moore and union heads. Ron Paul would encourage all states to be "right to work" states. He'd repeal all federal laws that give special privileges to unions, and take the federal government's nose out of the rights of workers to organize.
I was just explaining how his positions are not compatible at all with the "Occupy Wall Street" movement, so as long as the unions and far left-wing big government taxmongers like Michaelossal Moore support it.
The OWS people are all for no more bailouts, just like Ron Paul, but so are most people nowadays. And they probably support it out of hatred for all rich people, not just corrupt ones.
Guys, Ron Paul is a rare honest politician that deserves your vote and attention! You can help and support Ron Paul in the next BlackThisOut[dot]com moneybomb look it up... it's time to get America back on track.

I'm glad he finally had a chance to mention Michael Scheuer and Robert Pape so that people can research the causes for suicide terrorism rather than assuming RP just made it all up.
Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who is willing to turn us away from our path toward economic collapse and chaos. All of the others offer more of the same failed policies. All of the other candidates offer us the very UNREAL idea that government can fix our lives and give us all a fairy tale life. Ron Paul is the only one who is grounded in reality. Let's support the one who accepts the reality of the Constitution, and that freedom is the only solution to the human condition.
Unfortunately I'm going to have to say I'm noticing that Ron Paul has been rambling a lot, lately. It's not that he's saying bad things, but the way he says them is becoming increasingly incoherent, as if he's not getting enough sleep, or he may be showing signs of senility. It doesn't happen when speaking to the press as much as when he's at the podium. Anyone else noticing this?
@james1844 Ron is an American who actually works out and stays in shape. Not too many suits off the shelf to fit him. He needs a custom suit created by a professional taylor.
I agree with Dr. Paul - bring troops home, get out of UN, IMF & WTO, no money and weapons to foreign countries. If we stop visas to muslim "students", we can retire TSA gropers tomorrow. Yes, we like free-market with open borders, but if it is too expensive to defend our liberties, we will close it for some.
@james1844 If you're more focused on the way he dresses then the substance of his speech then you my friend are amongst the many who look for the status quo. Your better off voting for Romney or Perry if that's how you base your opinion on someone
@mikizzle1 I was one of Ron's delegate candidates in 2008. I've contributed to most of the major money bombs since then, as well as to several Ron Paul congressional candidates and to Rand's campaign.
Ron still needs to get a better suit - his unconventional appearance makes his ideas seem kooky. We are in a fight for the top job, so its not time to buck the system by looking like someones crazy uncle.
@mrsparex If it was required, that would turn me off and I think a lot of Americans would agree with me. I believe it does indeed need to be widespread and readily available.
@AbhorrentIdeology Okay then....let's amend my statement to include the requirement to watch would come from friends or family! I was exaggerating with the statement but I can dream! (my comment was a bit of hyperbole). Thanks for replying.....and since you have probably already watched it ....you're in the clear now!
@mrsparex Sorry about my negativity. I just read Liberty Defined, and I was in a very anti-mandate state of mind. Your comment is very true, but it just reminded me that if government keeps going the way it's going, we and our children may very well be legally mandated to watch political propaganda very much unlike this (probably socialist in context). I want to do everything I can to make sure that doesn't happen, but I can't do much, and that saddens me.
