Thanks for the upgrade run down. I have had the DROID with Android and Had noticed poor phone audio quality issues BEFORE the Upgrade. Very happy now with audio, and noticed the faster response time and better battery life. I just LOVE this phone / computer / camera / GPS / PDA / etc...

i got the upgrade and now when i flip my phone to landscape the menu doesnt flip to landscape anymore unless i open the keyboard is there a way to fix that?

Got my prompt for the update about an hour ago. Pressed install now. Well an hour later It has just a motorola icon on it. How long does it take? Wondering if this is normal?

Went to Verizon and they said a lot of droids are crashing from update. I have had mine 31 days so they wouldnt give me a new one on the spot. They suck! Now I have to wait a week for a new one in the mail. They snotty customer service girl chewing her gum was the topper.

i got the update myself its a whole lot more responsive and you cant change the clock back on the lock screen that i know of the camera has less graniyness and the sound quality is even better all around its good the battery life im not to sure about ive only got the update this morning that will take time to tell a bit but my battery has lost less power over time

Very cool. I currently have an HTC "Touch" model from Sprint with the "Simply Everything" $99 monthly all-you-can-eat plan that I'm very happy with. My next phone will likely still be with Sprint but some version of Google Android which does look very impressive to me.

Wow, must be a sign. Was considering getting a Milestone, and the three main things people mentioned when comparing it to iPhone was it isn't as smooth, it wasn't as responsive, and the camera took too long to take pictures. It seems they are really serious about besting the iPhone, to the extent that they are willing to *GASP* listen to the customers. :O

Thanks for the video, quick question though. Sometimes when pulling down the notification panel it lags a bit on 2.0. Does this seem to be any better on 2.0.1? Is it just as choppy at times or does it seem to be improved? Thanks!

Are you comparing the speed between the two devices?... or from what it was before the update?. Because unless those phones are identical in every way we all know there's know way to judge speed comparing unlike machines.

Im comparing the issues I had with the phone before I got the update. I also compared it to the other phone. the phone had some choppiness when i was scrolling but the biggest issue that people are telling me there is always a echo when im talking to them . It seems to have gone away with this update
