I'm a cold, cold man, but even I can feel the hurt Alistair is feeling there, as well as some of the female PCs. So easy to tell that Alistair is just hiding his aching heart by lashing out violently at what Morrigan says. Though I can't blame him, since Morrigan really needs to learn her damn place and keep her nose out of other peoples business

Why would you even break up with Alistair? He's a great character/guy, and one of the best romance options I've ever seen in a game (if not THE best.)

Simply putting your animation to the dialogue, this scene is actually more fitting of him ending it if he becomes king, mainly because of the pain in both your lady Aeducan's and Alistair's faces- especially at the end where he looks regretful, but steels himself, as if to convince himself it was the best decision.

I'll admit, even though I'm a guy... the second I selected the 'We need to end this...' option for Alistair, with my Dalish Elf girl... I regretted it!! The entire time he was responding... with that sad, sad face and that sad, sad voice... I was like... Oh crap... why did I break up with him...

Thusly speaking, I reloaded my last save and forgot I ever tried to break up with him, hahaha. Women of the world... I have no idea how you break up with guys, but it's DAMN hard from my perspective.
