Personally...I would have told those two chefs who jumped over the table to leave the kitchen. It reminds me of Bobby Flay and how he stood on the cutting boards in the Iron Chef America series...ugh...pretty gross.
And these Canadian judges....eh.....Padma and Tom just have it. Also that Asian judge for Top Chef Masters.
@TopChefFan17 I agree, having been a chef for 15 yrs and a culinary teacher of apprentices I have always told them that the way they present themselves and the way they act in front of the public is VERY important. I understand these people are excited but jumping benches isn't on, actually reminded me of HK season??? when they had to stay up making bread and one girl kept laying on benches and at one point was asleep =/.......
It's funny how certain television series' can bloom, like The Amazing Race, Survivor, and Top Chef, and the American classic is now branching off a Canadian series, one that promises to live up to the expectations to all Top Chef fans EVERYWHERE.
To my fellow Canadian friends, and to all fans around the world, I myself included from America, let's us all watch and enjoy.
@mordy777, does it really matter which Top Chef series is better?! As a chef myself, I am always open minded to learning new tricks from other chefs, so I really don't care which is better.
