He is a great young man and I continue to admire his work with young gay teens. He made a valid point for some situations, yet I agree with you in most other situations. well im kinda getting to this on the ass end of everything. I have not been around to watch/comment on videos. having said that, I think you Jared have opened up a dialogue that many have been discussing privately but just has not put it out in the open like you have. I agree w/ lodvg06 about BlogTV stuff - Derek is arrogant and... mean.
He's a completely different person than in his earlier videos and that's not really a good thing. Confidence is good, but arrogance is not. It's obvious YouTube popularity went to his head.
Either that or he was a very good actor in the early videos. Hard to believe people would donate their money to him now based on his attitude like some once did.

Not that you are old by any means, but I think you bring a mature perspective to this cannel. I love all the guys on the channel, but there is some who think that there is only one right answer and only one right person. I think some of the freinds, especially on line friends, are having a negative influence on some members. Proud pickle.

Now I found you guys having found Dereks vids first. And I think he aims to be insightful however I dont watch his vids anymore. They dont have any substance. You for example do a wonderful job, and I think your editing is great. Besides the point some of the things that happen randomly are the best bits. And you are a very funny person. I agree with a lot of what u said but tbh the whole channel needs a HUGE overhaul. Not just the weeks when people can't/don't post but even the whole replying to questions is getting tired. You need some new energy, new ideas, yeah, what started off as a breath of fresh air is now getting tired

Excellent vid. I once had a bee sting me while driving- almost wrecked the car! I also agree that Derek's vid was not well thought out or presented. It left me thinking he was a bit "fluffy". Maybe he was having a tough day because I normally enjoy his vids. I think it's good that you gave some constructive criticism & hope it creates some good discussion for you guys.

I wouldn't call it bashing when your put forth your ideas/opinions in a "matter of fact" style the way you did. You simply stated what you saw and how it made you feel. I think you did it really well without getting carried away on a tide of emotion that could stir up a frenzy.

You said that very nicely. I've noticed that constructive criticism is ofttimes confused with bashing...and it isn't. I've received downright hateful remarks after offering constructive criticism. This coming on the heels of a commentor that just trashed them with four letter or worse words. If I spend time to type out these long winded commentaries it certainly isn't to say f..u or somesuch.
