I've watched all skorch82's videos and I can tell you, I hate this game. It was the best candicate for a medieval RPG to buy but I know it well enough to say, I'm not going to buy it. Everything but the great voice acting is very simple and mediocre. The best tactical sim I played was Warhammer: Dark Omen. There units had a great purpose. Dragon Age is pulp bs. The story is uninspired and it drags too long. This is meant for 15 year olds hack and slash gaming children who have no comparison.

wow this is fantastic fun we play it a lot during the winter with my uncles they are brilliant at it. I found the game perfectly free for my ps3 here - 115 games. com they have literally hundreds best thing about it is they are all free also I must say 2:33 - 3:53 was striking

I don't have the Internet at home (i have have an iphone), I've used my friends CPU to get the DLCs' but they won't activate since I copied the folders over to my external HD. Can I use the DLCs without the Internet?

read over Morrigans spells i think all of em are quite useful like mind blast, it stuns all enemies in like a 10 yard radius for about 5 seconds wich is really helpful

thats just one spell on the top of my head but carefully read over mage talents cuz they are very in depth and u can customize the character how u like

Hmm how come you're using Shield Cover and not Shield Block ? and why dont u drag the Skill Bar further to the right so u have more room for skills :) ? just Click and Drag the little box on the right side of the skill bar

Not willing to learn or improve is ignorant.. you can claim that it's your "gamestyle" all you want.. you're doing something wrong and thats all there is to it.. if you have two buffs and one gives you 10% dmg bonus and the other 15% bonus .. you telling me you would use the 10% because it's your "gamestyle" ?

1. There is no requirement to min/max stats in most RPGs in order to complete the game, therefore it is not wrong to choose to build a character that is weaker than the absolute max that character could achieve. It is a decision to favor challenge and unorthodox skillbuilding over trite and many times overpowered builds.

2. If you'd paid attention in the first few videos, you'd know this a blind playthrough, meaning it's all very new to skorch82. This makes min/maxing stats and skills nearly impossible. Whenever you come to a new RPG, you have to play it a few times before you start to see which skills are superior to the rest and which stats are necessary while others may as well be ignored. This is a natural learning process we all go through with RPGs.

And part of the fun of this LP is that fact that he does not try to 'power build' a character. He just picks what he likes and rolls with it.

There is no prize from making the best toon. Being a single player game does it really matter what abilities, stats, etc you are using? As AblatedCrayon pointed out - many, many RPGs have board scopes of what you can play without feeling like you screwed up.

Exactly. Variety is the spice of life. It can be more fun to play a non-perfect character simply because it plays differently than the maxed one. RPGs give you choices so you can build yourself into the game: your preferences, reflections of your gamestyle.

As nice as a maxed character is, min/maxing takes away some of the personality of the character without giving back anything meaningful in return:

So long as everything dies and you reach the story's end, how you got there isn't important.
