"18th Floor Balcony" is about him being in love and "It's Just Me" is actually about him feeling incomplete w/o his girlfriend and him wanting her back and how he kinda blocked out everyone else in his life- family, friends, etc.- so now he's all alone because his GF left him and so did his friends.

I think it's an amazing song...totally my favorite. 18th floor balcony is about being in love, and being totally blissful. Then It's Just Me comes on, and it's like...after the breakup....it's....insightful really. i love it.

it's just me was never recorded as it's own song. it's the second part of 18th floor balcony. you can tell cuz of the lyrics. & the discography on the website doesn't mention a song called it's just me.

Oh my! This song brought me to tears and joy at the same time. My boyfriend's daughter played it for me the other night...Her boyfriend knows that I love this band, and he said to listen to this song. I almost didn't because of the title..LOL! I love their beautiful acoustic music, and I assumed this was not..but so far it's the best I've heard. The emotion in his voice, on both songs, just gives me chills, as does the viloin.
