  • I think this is the best method I've seen so far! I love that it isn't a messy method. But quick question, microwaving the plastic jar doesn't harm it? I thought it isn't good to microwave plastic. Maybe i'll find glass jars just to be safe. Thanks for sharing!

  • @ImmaShiaholic Thanks so much! Microwaving a plastic jar can be harmful to the jar if it is a really flimsy thin walled jar I am sure. I only buy the double walled thick plastic jars, and I have yet to have a problem with them. But a glass jar would certainly be a great option for sure! xoxo Amber

  • wow that's awesome! Thanks for the how to! I need to get some of the jars now.

  • @thephillipsquads You are so welcome love! xoxo

  • I might try that! I depotted my Milk pencil using the "hair dryer method" that I came across here on youtube, and let's just say it did not turn out the way I hoped... I don't know if my hair dryer gets too hot or what, but the actual pen melted before the stuff in it came out... so I basically had to squeeze out the white stuff from the half-molten pencil, haha! Not the best experience. This seems a lot easier and a lot less messy ;) xo

  • @acidwash06 Oh my goodness Sandra, yeah I didn't have the patience for the Hair dryer depotting method. Now I am glad I didn't go that route, it sounds like that would have been a nightmare for me too! This method was extremely easy and quick which is what I really loved! xoxo

  • genius

  • @GlamTrotter I found a batch of 50 jars (#5089) on ebay for, like, $32! I wanted to make some simple lipglosses for my nieces too, so i'll have plenty of jars for that too!

  • @ShariShimmers77 What an awesome deal! The supply company I buy from sells on Ebay as well, maybe I should have purchased from there! So fabulous, thanks for sharing! xoxo Amber

  • @GlamTrotter yeah, its the same company! I went looking through all the items to find some of the jars, and those ones popped up! Bargain! Pretty cheap to get them shipped to Oz too!!
