Democracy is NOT our form of government because in a Democracy the majority can vote to take other people's stuff. Socialism ensues, in which the ruling elite assume the power to "redistribute wealth" from those who earned it to the majority who did not. There is a stark difference. When Bush got into office, he sent the Justice Dept. to prosecute corporate crooks who were defrauding the shareholders. Enron, Global Crossing, Tyco, etc.

They are what they are. You can have possesion of them, but that's it. You can have some control over them, but you can never technically own anything outside your body.
I do not prescribe to human ownership, only control of properties of objects within the universe for short periods of time.

Never. Karl Marx only put out that definition of Communism/Socialism as a trick, a sales pitch. It has never, ever been defined in reality in those terms simply because when people get used to getting the product of other people's labor - inequity is the completely inescapable result.

One of his first acts was to instruct the Justice Department to go after the crooks at Enron, Global Crossing, Tyco and other corporations where the top management were lying about earnings, bilking the shareholders (employees). I was a shakeup - the crooks who had been coddled during the Clinton Administration suddenly found themselves in court - and the rest moved fast to clean up their business practices.

Democracy is NOT our form of government because in a Democracy the majority can vote to take other people's stuff. Socialism ensues, in which the ruling elite assume the power to "redistribute wealth" from those who earned it to the majority who did not. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, it was 4.7%. After that, with Democrats running Congress, holding the purse strings and triggering the housing market crash they'd been building, things went all to hell.
The "Bush" economy ended when Democrats got control in 2007 of the nation's purse strings.
