If I remember right, Optimus somehow became as big as him and beat the crap out of Unicron then blew himself up and killed Unicron. I probably got it wrong but I remember watching that episode an thinking how shit it all was.

Canonically I view Unicron as the Godzilla of transformers. In my writings...he's more of a misunderstood fellow with his own issues--as Starscream discovers in Ambrosia. The truth of what he REALLY is in MY little universe has shocked readers out of their socks. :) I love doing that...

I always saw Unicron as wanting to assimilate everything so that he himself can direct how everything goes. Him representing tyranny and complete dominance over lesser beings while Primus represents peace and freedom.

in my writings Unicron is sort of a being of nonexistence o.o he seeks to consume reality to recreate it and lead it as he thinks it should be lead due to being basically the physical embodiment of all that shouldn't exist in what we know as reality.

In my writings Unicron is trying to absorb the multiverse to recreate as he sees fit in his inability to understand why things are the way they are since he's the culmination of everything that wasn't meant for reality while his brother was.

Yeah, I listened to it and thought "wow, this could fit Unicron and Primus. I'll stick them together in a movie!" And I haven't seen a movie with those two in it at the same time(or at least sequentially), so I feel like I have done something original :)
