  • haha is it driving around a fucking legal reason to pull over a vehicle?!!

    NO IT IS NOT !!!!

  • I have to agree with u once again.

  • This guy driving the truck is a complete jerk-off. You can tell by the way he talks to the cop he starts getting smart "its a free country".

  • another great comment left up by policeabusedotcom good work keep the misinformation up!

  • why waste everyones time, why not just answer the officers questions rather than wasting 5 officers times..ill answer it for you, because your looking for a conflict

  • first off, ramsey would never have 5 guys on at one time, so stop exaggerating and whining "there were 5 police officers there"...their scheduling would not allow for it, so obviously you are discredited from the beginning and honestly bro, just go to staples, pick up an employment application and help out the economy by getting a fucking job instead of being a martyr for police "abuse"....get the fuck outta here u loser

  • Ah, awesome, just what we need, another idiot that thinks he knows the law and police procedures because he has seen a few videos on youtube and calls himself an "investigator".

  • Fuck these cocksuckers. They couldn't last a day in any inner city neighborhood where real police work is conducted. That driver has every right to file a complaint. NJ Suburban cops being paid $120,000 a year to run this state like a Stalin-esque gestapo. Fuck them.

  • man you sound like a real intelligent person, I love how this great organization of policeabusedotcom leaves these informative posts up, but if you criticize these baiters for looking for a conflict they will have it removed...honestly this guy in the in the video obviously has alterior motives...

  • Former officer Rivera was fired from the police department in 1996 for insubordination, but he later won an out-of-court set-tlement for improper termina-tion and the town paid him $675,000. The town admited no wrongdoing.

Rivera wore an electronic re-cording device for the FBI for 18 months during a probe into police corruption in the town that led to the jailing of the town's former police chief and numerous officers.

  • You're typical. Always looking for trouble by being a wise ass to police officers. Just shut your mouth, answer the questions, and you would have had no problems. You just hate authority, and the fact that they make good money. Get a life you complaining little bitch.

  • The police shouldnt behave like that. It is not like they are dealing with trouble inmates. I dont think that all the people that police encountered are bad.Unlike my line of work. If you repsect the poilice at the first contact, then there is no fucking reasons for them to act like that

  • I am a corrections ofcr. and i hate inmates

  • 5 stars, but you're still an idiot for doing it at night. Deal with them at 7:00 in the morning when everyone is half normal & not in killer mode.

  • omg u r hilarious where did u come up with that

  • Cops are human, like you and I. Just a not-so-fine product of their leadership.

  • i like how none of my comments were taken into consideration, maybe its cause its a perfect point of how ramsey cops are bad cops

  • i have respect for the NYPD and all other major city police, but Ramsey cops do nothing to contribute towards actually safety. yes there have been robbery's, but the police have no led in those investigations. a high school students was stabbed while trying to fight off a buglers, and the police haven't been able to catch that man. you decide if that's bad luck or bad police work

  • also when i was a kid and we graduated from our middle school we decided to water balloon the school as a joke and when we ran back to our friends house the cops were already there and they interrogated my friends little brother, in 6th grade, who had nothing to do with the ballooning until he cried. how would u explain that. he never disrespected the police, was cooperative, didnt "baited" them.

  • alright many good points have been brought up on both sides. The cops handled the situation poorly, but he was baiting the officer. i am actually from ramsey and i can tell u first hand that they are ego maniacs that only hassle drivers, teens, and break up house partys. there are very little real crime cases in ramsey. only about one a year. i have delt with the officers before and even when u are kind a respectful they will not return that respect.

  • These cops are no longer human, they are mind controlled x military that that can no longer think for themselves. All you can do is defend yourself, thats what i will do when my human rights are violated.

  • No, I clearly said that SOME cops are losers. I think that I have been fair in my comments. I don't have a big personal issue with cops: no summons, warnings, arrests, nor a record. So to say that I have a grudge against cops is simply wrong. I do have a problem with cops enforcing their own personal rules outside of the law. I have a problem with police corruption. I have a problem with police exercising warrants on the WRONG address. Fix these problems & you'll easily get me on your side.

  • BoldCuffs, I am also a landlord and I know what it is like to deal with scum. I'm also old enough to have retired friends who were CHP and Sheriff officers. They all told me that the work can get to you. My point is that what you need is for law-abiding people like myself to be on YOUR side. You can do that easily by not assuming everyone is guilty, and apologize when you are obviously wrong. As far as construction workers beating their wives, I don't see the point. They don't enforce the law.

  • Or you can watch the whole unedited video on our web site...

  • There are plenty of law-abiding citizens like myself who DO have a problem with cops. I have no record, never been arrested, don't drink, don't do drugs, don't cuss, don't have an attitude.... but the attitude from cops is so bad that it is obvious that the profession attracts some losers. My wife handled divorces for cop clients. Many of them were wife beaters, so they're a problem at home too. This adversarial attitude must stop. It doesn't impress me & it doesn't work on me.

  • Harassment isnt a responsibility.

Please explain to me the law that prohibits you from driving around town.

We do have laws in this Country. He BROKE no law yet you condone the harassment of him and the waste of public time and money spent on harassing people.

You seem like areal POS punk.

  • Wow what a typical punk cop response.

These cops were doing no service to anyone.

  • do you edit your little videos while your mom cleans your room?

  • Wait a minute....the real premise of your website is to set up cops....... that's what you do.

  • So what if they set up cops! If the cops do their job, then they will never fall for the bait. The cops always say that if you have nothing to hide, then why don't you let us look in your house or car. The same logic should apply to them. IF YOU'RE GOING TO ACT PROFESSIONALLY, THEN YOU SHOULDN'T MIND US FILMING YOU.

  • EXACTLY. You hit the nail on the head.

  • Where does it say the officer had to answer his questions????

  • In fact, there are circumstances (and you were close to it) where the officer would be legally justified to pat you down. You were driving around in circles at night and then could provide no explanation for your nonsensical behavior. The officer would have to conclude you were either under the influence, stupid or nuts and possibly a danger to him or yourself. If you want to make a video, why don't you walk around Washington Heights with a $100 bill tape to your forehead. That's a video.

  • I've not only heard of it, I've read it. A person has the right against self incrimination when in CUSTODY of the police...read the case law. That doesn't mean he has a right not to answer reasonable questions presented by the police under the circumstances depicted in your little video.

  • ramaining silent while in police custody is part of your meranda rights... the constitution protects you ALL OF THE TIME... even while you're not in police custody. There is nothing illegal about not answering questions... ans there's nothing illegal about dring around in circles either. And let's not forget why this traffic stop occured in the first place....RETALIATION. God forbid someone make a complaint against the police right?

  • It's MIRANDA....1966 Miranda vs Arizona.... and you're wrong....Miranda is relevant to in custody questioning. You weren't charged with driving around in circles.... You were questioned because the activity was suspicious.

  • You still have the right not to answer his questions.

No matter what you believe, You have civil rights and this mans civil rights were being abused.

This traffic stop should of never happend, It is not a crime to drive around.

  • Did you idiots even listen to the audio before the video of the traffic stop? This was a retaliation stop... not a regular traffic stop. He was pulled over within minutes of leaving the police station.

  • So why were you driving around in circles??

  • You didn't answer his questions. Why wouldn't you do that? You were clearly baiting the officer. He was polite until you became evasive. How was he supposed to react? Calling him officer every 2 seconds doesn't change anything. You need a new hobby, Dude.

  • You should almost always decline to take the FSTs. Insist on either a PBT (which most police don't carry) or a breathalyzer. The police may arrest you on suspicion of DUI but will have no evidence (as they will when you inevitably fail the FSTs) and will have to commit to facts in their police report.
