Hellspark isn't playable in Jund. Jund wants card advantage, not damage efficiency (ie, blightning). Madrush Cyclops sucks. Don't play it. However, I didn't see a single decent card in the Lifegain deck, so Jund clearly wins in this matchup.
You forgot to tap the Cudgel Troll when it regenerated. I also did not know what half of those cards were. You did not have very many clear shots and no notations as to what all of the cards were.
Life player is a newb. A life player needs at least 4 Wrath of God effects, be they Day of Judgment, All Is Dust, or what have you. Life gain= negative card advantage, so the mass sweepers make up for your loss. Then, late game is when life gain pulls out its Baneslayer Angels and takes the cake, with Emeria online and Sun Titan for backup.
Mathew Crossland ruined FNM for everyone in New Orleans by stealing a box of M11 from the prize support from BSI M11 Pre-release and abuse the MTG tournament program by pairing people the way he wanted, so he can be in top 8 and win the tournament. Thanks Matt...never knew a Tulane Grad can be so crooked.
