we do get to see diary rooms on the show, the reason they won't show it because they want people to watch the TV recaps. the DR's are made for the purpose of helping to explain what the houseguests were feeling/thinking/doing at the time. its also why they won't show competitions and ceremonies. even though we are always able to figure out what happened, they want us to watch the show on TV.
