  • guys check out my idea .. its in my only video uploaded (:

  • looks like the ESC is not set to soft start..:) nice flying sir...

  • Fbless solid as a rock

  • I love RC helis. But I love the sweet sound of that Thumper in the background even more:)

  • 200kph...wat eva lol

  • @ 6:02 FREAKING EPIC!!! LMFAOOOOO!!!! XDD

  • My ROFLCopter goes soi soi soi soi soi soi soi soi soi soi! Awesome. Top heli and sweet flying, I can hover but as soon as go past hover I get to excited/panic and crash, I have taken a 6 month break from heli flying but I have 2 repaired collective helis rdy to crash! I just wish they where as easy to fly as the MSR.

  • nice fly, from quebec ,canada

  • W_O_W!!!

  • When he was coming in on that last landing at the beginning i thought he was doing a auto rotation ;-( maybe next time hay Bruce ;-) Still looks and sounds like a sweet Heli though, hope we get to see a lot moe of that one mate, thumbs up.

  • @startazz

These mechanics are super effeciant making them quiet aswell but autos will come next week might even be brave enough to do some inverted autos aswell.

  • @vigor3d Now thats something i've got to see but some how i can't see you doing an

inverted atuo some how LOL,but i'll keep my eyes open just in case ;-)

  • Awesome. Thats top notch equipment your friend is flying! Can you recommend the Futaba 750 GY?

  • @Locoracers

The cgy750 is my first and this was the first flights after setting it up on the bench, i did some reading on runryder and made some changes to the controller i.e. removed the expo as i wanted to do it from the TX instead but flew absolutely perfectly with no hassles at all, really easy to set up and tune and flies great highly recomended.

  • Hi bruce,

Do you think Wayne could share his servo specs speed controller motor size and his settings on the cgy 750?

The reason I ask is that I have a srimok ECO 90n with cgy750 which is basically the same but nitro and I will also be getting a Faifa in the next 2 weeks.

Is there anyway that I could maybe come visit you guys over there in N.Z as I was thinking of taking a heli holiday with the mrs.

Thanks and keep up the great work Bruce these vids are sweet.

  • @zeemanjr

My servos are jr 8717 on cyclic and futaba bls 251 on tail with a step down bec as im running life batts or lipo. The 8717 run fine straight from the battery ( rx battery not the flight battery) motor is the scorpion 4035 560kv on a 12t pinion but i am changing it to a 11t pinion to get the motor speed up. Rotor speed in this vid was 2100 as far as the cgy750 set gains at 50% my swash is 65% ail and 60% elev i will increase these as i get more time on the heli.Basically its stock.

  • Gotto love the sound of those blades :)

  • Thats one VERY serious machine, I look at this and think full size electric flight is getting closer and closer

  • thanks xjet you da man bro;)

  • That is one very nice looking Heli indeed, and so smooth in flight too, with plenty of grunt to go

  • Anyone else feel slightly skeptical about having this much power that could start at any time without warning? Thats why I like the idea of nitro more :) My 450 belt cp scares the hell out of me!

  • How long does it fly man? please answer

  • @mecamoon

At the moment i have it timed for 5 minutes and like the flight shown it uses 2300mah from a 4500mac nanotech 35C lipo.

  • lol awesome heli but god i would hate to have to buy the batteries for that thing

  • beautiful heli...

  • Very Impressive.

  • Holy shit, someone actually flying the heli instead of spinning it around at random! Sweeeet!

  • thats a nice scale flying there

  • One cool copter

  • While I'm a 'traditionalist' in that I all my own models MUST be IC powered now days (as I gain a lot of satisifaction from 'timkering' on them), it's hard to argue with the power and overal simplicity that these high end electric heli's are bring to the table ..... all 44 volts of them in this case!!

Really nice looking bird, thanks for posting on this one!

  • wow....o.o

  • Why did you gave up helis? I remember those time when gyro were not used or used but mechanical gyro they were. Now helis are built a lot better and technology is way advance now. Flybarless is the future and walkera already have flybarless heli that fly like a coax helis. :)

  • @jcer93705 Yeah, I started heli-flying with a Kalt Cyclone 1 and Kalt Cyclone 2 (.60 powered). I had a Futaba mechanical gyro (actually had a spinning flywheel in it). Unfortunately, I got busy with work and sold them because I never had the time to fly. Now that I'm back into the hobby, I can afford to buy more fixed-wing stuff for the same $ -- especially when crashes are taken into account ;-) (Not that I've ever crashed of course)!

  • @xjet

Yea all mechanical gyro are flywheels with sensor kindof like balancing a bike rim while spinning but with sensor I guess I don't know alot about'em but I just got rid of a futaba mechanical gyro with control box with pots and other square piece where the mecanical gyro in it. Pretty cool. You know, 450 size are cheaper and there people building those hk 450 with all electronic under 150 bucks. I had a exi 450 wasn't that bad link was longer then expected but for 20 bucks or so.

  • I have a small lite machine with a .074 and it did had a mechanical gyro but on the tail. Pretty cool. :)

  • Hey sir do you fly heli too?

  • @jcer93705 I used to fly helis way back in late 1990s but haven't flown for over 10 years now. One day when I get some more money I'll buy another.
