i have a 07 600.i barley started practicing wheelies(sitdown)....i cant seem to keep it up but then i feel like im going to loop the bike so i bring it down .is it hard to loop a 600.some guy tOld me it is. do you have any advise ? or do i just need to stop being a pussy and give it more gas
Thanks all ya'll for the compliments and comments..dragons42 is right though I def. wasn't hitting my balance point. This was when I first started learning...no stabilizer..ahh!! haha anyways..yes I picked it up in first gear..I was rolling about 10 mph. I picked it up and just shifted through each gear until I got to 6th and then I just cruised best I could. I slipped the clutch a bit to pick it up and I also used the clutch to shift each time..I hate dry shifting.
Nice! I have the same White and silver 08 GSXR 600. Lui Moto makes great seat covers for this one. I took off all the stickers and got the white and silver seats, chrome windscreen, titanium M4 exhaust, and white lettering on the tires. Funny I got the same Icon airframe helmet except I added a red star on each side to match my Icon Merc Hero Jacket:) Now I need performance mods!!
i know...it was a bad joke. hehe. it almost sounded like he was shifting in the wheelie. from that slow speed, I would guess he came up in first though. unless the bike is regeared, 600s shouldnt come up in 2nd going that slow. I may be wrong though....just a guess.
He had to be shifting through because there's no way he went from 1st gear to 100+. I know thats his friends bike with all the sound shifting but you can see his foot moving too like he's hard shifting.
its hella fun to wheelie through the gears once in a while!!!
