I love the original Fame, and I feel like this version will be too much like High School Musical. The original was raw and real, and did not hold back on the true situations that diverse groups of people go through. It discussed real issues like drugs, alcohol abuse, suicide, sex, teen pregnancy, race, teen love, money issues, sexuality (homosexual), the pressures of living a different life, and many more. ****CONTINUES TO NEXT COMMENT*****.

So i hated that they were remaking it. HATED the idea. Then this girl playing coco came on and I swear to god I shut my mouth and was dumbfounded. The remake of the song fame is brilliant. It's modern. Think about new songs that are out there - Sugar by Flo Rida is just like an old song. And Right Round is another remake. And it's brilliant. It's exposing kids to the past songs just modern.. And the blonde is a BOMBSHELL at dancing. And the circus part, where it's blue and dark looks awesome.

Yeah, sugar used the "underbelly" of the song I'm Blue...so they kinda like...borrowed with a modern twist. It's cool but I think other people should know the real song....Just like fame. It's cool their remaking it but kids should first see the orginial.

Well, I still think it's bad... No offense, but why do they keep making all this remakes? I mean: the original is ALWAYS better. Look at the remake of Annie (by disney) for example. I can't possibly think of one remake that's as good as the original. And I think the same way about old songs vs. re-invented songs.

Movie studios are trying to jump on the success of High School Musical. I wish MGM would have created something new as opposed to just grab an old movie and refilm it.
