dont hand brake, it wears down your tires so fast, tip, enter your drift by dipping the clutch fast but not to hard, then finish turning the wheel and alternate pressure on the gas peddal

The difference from an NA to an NA (first and second gens) is very subtle body differences and the NB came with a 1.8L engine whereas the 1990-1993 NAs came with a 1.6L engine and the third gen NCs have a 2.0L other differences could have been supercharged models from the factory. But overall yes the NA is one hell of a car to drive for being a first from a company, I love mine to death and will never sell it.

All you have to do is tap the handbrake. But in this case, it really isn't necessary to pull it. He may have pulled it though since it's doable. Steering corrections and throttle blips are all that is needed to keep it going if the car starts to lose the slide.

It's a shame there aren't more places we can go to practise like this. I kick the back of my Miata out in the wet all the time and it's a lot of fun. not so much in the dry though cos it's the 117hp 1.6L and i haven't had much practise at 'dry drifting' lol.

err he barely touched the e-brake, he was covering it in case the car got wild. it was all power and steering. doofus. HOLDING down the e-brake would result in rear wheels locking up, which = NO DRIFT. pulling it to get a drift started is different.., a million diff ways to drift.., thats one of them. jealousy is disgusting!
