Why on Earth are these people criticizing the theory of ABIOGENESIS (which is still legitimate) And they act as if it was the theory of EVOLUTION. Those are separate objects of study! Evolution, suggested by Darwin is explaining speciation and changes in organic populations on Earth, not the origin of the very first proto-life. God!

Well, this vid should prove beyond a doubt that Darwinists and Evolutionists are not in the least stupid. Facts are facts, and if you'll notice, the majority of the facts used here were discovered by brilliant evolutionary theorists. The conclusions that can be drawn from their discoveries has impelled some scientists to alter the theory. That's the way science works. Theories change, as a matter of course. Read "Double Helix" by Jim Watson - he was wrong a dozen times before he was right.

So your logic is, that 99% of genes is junk so its useless. Remember we only use 10% of our brain, should disgard the rest as useless. Because we don't know what certain things that don't mean we dismiss or disgard them. Problem with humans are they can't say they don't know. Instead they force false info or create them to make there beliefs or so called theories true. Follow the facts and logic and you will see what's what.

MaxSafeheaD - if your mind is truly open on this issue I highly recommend Stephen Meyer's latest book, Signature in the Cell.

It looks at all the outstanding theories on the origin of life and shows the weaknesses of each theory.

The simplest and most likely explanation at this point really is that an Intelligent Agent formed the first life.

An Intelligent agent is NOT a simple explanation. These buffoons propose that agent to be god - a creative agent so complex it's not even possible to describe!!!

Name one other intelligent agent that magically creates.

@wgbutler777 Stephen Meyer is a very well spoken man, but I've heard him debate, and his arguments are rubbish. He essentially compares DNA to a software program and since programs are written by intelligent sources, DNA must have been. Does anyone not see the flaw in this? He also really likes to talk about design engineering. You know what design engineering and biological systems have in common? They both work based on physical properties. Not because they're designed.

Natural selection is not limited to living organisms it's a general principle of applied logic. For example gravity and the speed of a rivers flow, naturally select the distribution of grain sizes deposited on it's bed.
