When people want to "see some footage," it won't take 10min because people like Jonathan will want to see more & more & more, then you burn 30min of shoot time on reviewing tapes. A total & complete waste of time. You have to keep them from doing that. Then after watching all that video he'll want to do takes over again that he doesn't like. Stuff like that has to be discussed before shooting. Plus, if the sun is an issue, shoot on a stage. Or, block out the windows completely. Problem solved.

I swear to God when I first came across Blow Out I honestly thought is was a MOCKUMENTARY, like "Waiting for Guffman" by Christopher Guess or a show like "The Office". I couldn't believe that it was real and Jonathan Anton was a real person. It doesn't get more LA pretentious, phonier, and plastic than this folks.

He may be arrogant, but he has a point. It's his money, his commercial. Those arrogant
producers need to accomidate their customer. For $100,000 they can show him some footage.
And... Their "We're so late!" whining was pointless because they still finished ahead of
time.
