if one LED is burning out,,,

it is no replacement another LED

  • 2700Kelvin is really warm white. 3000k is a bright white.

  • I do wish people would stop referring to 3000K as "warm white." It looks like a very cold white when you try to mix it with incandescent lighting.

  • It's like looking at the sun but you still get shit light.

  • 120 volt ac system for 8 watts? something is wrong here or just plain stupid.

  • This particular unit appears to use the same glass jar lens used on the first CFL's years ago - the ones with a magnetic balast.

  • Price of $44.99 ea is much too high for the average consumer . In my small home of about 20 bulbs that would be about $1000. But LED are much better than a CFL . CFL`s dont last as long as they say and have a 1 to 2 minute wait to reach full light output.Using a cheap light meter you nead a 100 watt replacement CFL to give you 60 watts of light.

  • In case anyone is wondering, a standard light bulb has an output of about 850 lumen and CFL is about 800. I'm really liking the path LED are taking as not only is the wattage used less, but the longevity is simply unbeatable.
