  • a-fuckin-mazing!!!!! cannot believe this is a high school production, i got lost into her perfrmance nd it seemed professional to me.. great acting, timing, nd especially singing:)

  • Loving this live band with the drums. Gives this classic song a whole new spin. I do feel as though her voice is drowned out by the band though. X

  • She's very nasally and her acting is subpar (but not bad for high school... really, you never find good actors in high school) but she has a lot of potential.

  • @Cheratomo nasally? really she's maybe a little if any, really not much, really listen to her belting notes their very strong and defiantly from the diaphragm, not nasally. listen again

  • @TheTimrhodes93 I was using the wrong word, not nasally, but she doesn't open her throat fully. It sounds off in some way to me, and I don't know enough about the voice technically to be able to point out what, I just know that there's a difference between some of her notes which are really good and some which sound weird and strained.

  • Bonita voz y con mucha potencia. Pero sí la faltó más expresión corporal, gris.

  • Um, Rizzo shouldn't be this emotional.... I would like to see more character buildup. I mean, Rizzo is STRONG, STUBBORN, BAD. I think it wasn't very good to have Sandra Watching from the side of the stage.

  • @elibellz922 Yeaaaah .... but this song is supposed to show that she has a weaker side too! That she isnt all hard, she's sometimes just talk.... what she says and what she feels are two different things.

  • Absolutely amazing!

  • WOW SHE SUCKS, SHES STIFF LIKE A PICKLE, LACKS CHARACTER,

  • I love the rhythm she's incorporating into the song. It's a great performance! :)

  • Lol is this Lincoln high???

  • FANTASTIC!!

  • she kinda off key but its good

  • Is it just me, or does she look a bit like Anne Hathaway?

  • Good singing, but the acting is slightly too exaggerated for my liking.

  • she kind of looks like the girl from sabrina the teenage witch,, i think her name was libby?

  • great voice, great emotion but weird backing music and timing.

  • great singing but slightly strange timing?

  • soz but she is not as good than a 15 year old from a school on grease the school musical

  • fantastic singing.

  • good job, but the director sucks! this coulda been so much more, instead it was quite stagnant. still, what a wonderful, powerful voice! bravo!

  • so into it <3 amazing

  • wau!! that's great!! i definitly wanna see u perform!! great job with the song and tha character too

  • you were amazing... dont listen to all the haters... jealousy is an ugly thing. you rocked

  • chet

  • i haz the same last name but spell it differentt xD

  • Good singer, wrong location and costume....I'm a director....

  • Ignore the nay-sayers, (everyone's a critic and a frustrated performer!). I make my living from singing and I thought you did a great job - tempo and pitch.

  • you are a great singer, but pay attention to the tempo of the song. You are ahead of the music ALOT.

  • she a good singer, but didnt fit the role

  • Good, Rizzo... She was amazing.

  • I thought it was GREAT this is my favorite part in Grease and over all it was WAY better than you would expect a High School play to be. =) And the acting wasn't bad at all like every one keeps saying, you even got a little tear in there when the camera zoomed on your face. xD

  • she has the wrong tune it's supposed to be deeper. and i can't hear her over the music.

  • nice vibrato! very smooth. just ease up with your vibrato, sounds too forced

  • Fantastic

  • couldve been much better. its not entirely your fault, after many rehearsals, the director shouldve at least fixed the way you were acting, but overall it wasnt bad. it just couldve been miles better. but at least you werent bad

  • the perfromance was stiff and you seemed out of character. you also were off beat just a tad

also 'home' is hoe-mm not hooyme

  • not very good. the performance was stiff. the acting out of character. the singing out of key in places and out of it

  • it was alright. her voice was too verbrato at some points and it didn't sound good. overall i don't think she delievered the acting part of the song well. it's more emotional and she should have been softer at parts and stronger at others. she was off with that. and at the end, when she's confessing to sandy that she cries, thats a big deal because rizzo is so tuff and i don't think it was good acting to be smiling.

  • pretty good... A litlle bit more song coaching and ure ready for the big time! Great voice, very promising.

  • this girl needs to hit Broadway

  • ok so i saw in an earlier part that this hs is in cali what part of cali? i am from california so yea

  • its in san jose

  • oh cool i'm from modesto

  • Hi Cousin!

  • I really like how she sang that :)

  • Nice job

  • 7,000 views brenna good job

  • omg. okay i was rizzo in grease this year. i went on youtube to find some pointers. ill be honest ..they all sucked ! lmao i wish i saw yours. you were amazing lmao. not my favorite style for this song [music wise] love it<33 good job girlie <3

  • Wow, I'd have loved to see the whole show! You're really good.

  • OMG another "There are worse things I could do" WITHOUT the tenor sax....totally bland without it

  • Shes Great

  • Woah. she was pretty amazing.

Im playing rizzo in my schools production.

Shes amazing! acting and singing wise! x

  • the idea isn't to be as good as someone but to create it your own when singing it as well as hitting notes. but if you create it your own then your not compared with other people.

  • shes a great singer.

  • Gosh, that was amazing. im currently rizzo at my highschool, double casted with a friend of mine... i sure hope i can pull it off... i mean.. i cant belt. so... i hope i do well. wish me luck!

  • this is high school ?!

    impressive !

i wanna do grease in our school,

but i couldn't be half the rizzo she is !

  • What?!?!? Were we watching the same video? Her singing is not just 'decent', it's great. The same goes for her acting. Her facial expressions alone are enough to let you know that Rizzo wasn't just a character for her, that she is a real person with real flaws.

I can't imagine anyone who hasn't played Rizzo would really understand what it is to play her, so I don't blame you for being ignorant.

  • It's any actor's job to make the character real with flaws, that's nothing special. Her singing had its flaws, and there are certainly different interpretations of how Rizzo can act this scene, and I've definitely seen it portrayed better. It's her acting just before the song that lessened it overall. I maintain my opinion.

  • @fredombeautytruthluv This is very true. I played George Washington in my 1st grade play. I now understand the hardships of being the general of a war, and the difficulty of presiding over a newly formed nation. Even now, I just experienced whats its like to be you, by posting something completely absurd.

  • Wow, I'm currently trying out for my school's Grease and I dunno if I can be that good. =/

  • I'm playing Rizzo in my school's upcoming play, and I know how difficult this song can be. I think she did an excellent job!

  • the singing was ok but rizzo wasnt that posh lookin n ur ryt sandy dont hav 2 b blond its annoyin that people think she is

the singin was ok well dun xox

  • it is a high school in california

  • WHY IS SANDY BRUNETTE!!! Shes good....but no!!! Need blonde! And Rizzo's too polished! Shes suppose to be an easy lil tart not a secretary!

  • Where does it say that Sandy HAS to be blonde? In the Original Broadway Cast, Sandy was a brunette. Sandy does NOT have to look like Olivia Newton-John.

  • What does haircolor have to do with it. I' mblonde and I play rizzo, so what, it had nothing to do with if you're good at it or not

  • I agree.

I'm also a blond Rizzo. And I don't think it makes any difference. Talent and aptitude for the character are all that really matter in the long run.

  • yep!

    blonde rizzos rule :P

(that's just a joke all right! before everyone starts saying haircolor doesn't matter and stuff, cuz i agree with that)

  • ur very good and have guts :)

  • great acting and singing for a higfh school! where is it?

  • im in this play right now as rizzo. and i think their great!

  • actings bad singing is ok

  • lol... the acting wasn't bad... jus a lil dry an unconvincing... that last line b4 the song i've heard ppl get real mad at her

  • w0w ur great

  • Brenna = AMAZING. hehe. love.

  • yeah!brilliant acting!

  • AWESOME!! You're really talented...and you look like Anne Hathaway...=]

  • Great voice and great performance!! I loved it!!

  • thank you!!!

  • You're Welcome!! ^^

  • i completely agree with the overacting. But none the less you still have a good voice.

  • Talk about overacting, and what is with the awful piano/string effect on the keyboard. That is certainly not in the book.

  • ... i don't think i liked the way they had them both on the stage like that... or the way it was done...

the voice was nice it jus didn't seem like she was really... idk "in the situation"...

  • they both are suppose to be up there she singing to sandy...

  • i guess what i mean to say is i didn't really like how the curtain was pulled... it kinda broke the scene for me

  • yeah i see what you're talking about and i have seen it when sandy walks off, i guess its just how you pull it off :)

  • Excellent performance and great voice-keep up with your act Brenna!!! Phat-John Vo
