@TheTimrhodes93 I was using the wrong word, not nasally, but she doesn't open her throat fully. It sounds off in some way to me, and I don't know enough about the voice technically to be able to point out what, I just know that there's a difference between some of her notes which are really good and some which sound weird and strained.

it was alright. her voice was too verbrato at some points and it didn't sound good. overall i don't think she delievered the acting part of the song well. it's more emotional and she should have been softer at parts and stronger at others. she was off with that. and at the end, when she's confessing to sandy that she cries, thats a big deal because rizzo is so tuff and i don't think it was good acting to be smiling.

What?!?!? Were we watching the same video? Her singing is not just 'decent', it's great. The same goes for her acting. Her facial expressions alone are enough to let you know that Rizzo wasn't just a character for her, that she is a real person with real flaws.

I can't imagine anyone who hasn't played Rizzo would really understand what it is to play her, so I don't blame you for being ignorant.

It's any actor's job to make the character real with flaws, that's nothing special. Her singing had its flaws, and there are certainly different interpretations of how Rizzo can act this scene, and I've definitely seen it portrayed better. It's her acting just before the song that lessened it overall. I maintain my opinion.
