If you wanna hear some good shredding, listen to some of Adrian Smith, Dave Murray, John Petrucci, Joe Satriani, Zakk Wylde, or Randy Rhoad's solos. Herman Li is a good guitarist but just because he plays fast doesn't mean he is Jimi Hendrix or Eddie Van Halen. the difference is that EVH plays fast but he has an amazing tone and sound while Herman Li just plays really fast with no rythemn or anything. Herman Li is a great guitarist but he can not be called the best or compared to jimmy page or joe perry or david gilmour etc.
