I have a deadstock 100% authentic never worn pair of cool grey 11s in size 10.5 but i really wear size 11 and they unfortunately sold out in that size when i bought them. Anyone got a size 11 and wanns trade for my deadstock 10.5 let me know ASAP !
lol is it because you put ice on it? just wondering because with metal, you cannot heat and then cool it etc. So maybe that is the case. i did sea glows on my space jams and yes it does work now obviously if you do it outside you will have effects of separations because of the weather. its not constant its variable. To solve this, you must use UV lighting. meaning to use man made lighting source and heating source to fix this. Just to throw it out there for you guys.
Question: Are those authentic shoes? My friend bought a pair of third party market so called Jordan 11's and wanted to use sea glow on it, would it still work?
HEY GUYS PLEASE THUMB ME UP SO OTHERS CAN READ THIS! I AM SELLING MY AIR JORDAN RETRO 11'S IN THE COOL GREY COLORWAY! PLEASE FIND IT ON EBAY! IT HAS 10 DAYS ON IT. THEY ARE BRAND NEW, STARTING BID PRICE 100$ AND THEY ARE SIZE 12. THANKS EVERYBODY SO MUCH!
I say a small difference in the side where the middle is hope they wash the icey sole of when they take them off are back to the long ads seaglow method ha ha ha
i gota pair of og space jams and i want to do this but i wud like to noe for like how long wud i hav to leave the shoes out in the sun for and incase of the sole separation what wud i have to do do pleasee responde asap ?!?!?
I heard if your sole has already seperated that you should seaglow the sole while separated because you can seaglow both sides of the soles so the soles will be really icey
@restoremysneakers soles warping? what do you mean by that? and cant you just scrub off the seaglow afterwards and then apply the glue? i heard E6000 works really well
@FeelinTooHigh I believe that person who started that, made a video tutorial how to to do it. I don't know if it yellows up again in the long run, since I have yet to see any pictures or info about it.
@thiennguy3n It can be done by the window. You can even use an electric fan to help keep the shoes cool since there are cases where it still gets pretty hot near a window.
It works better if u apply more sea glow every 15-20 mins or when it dries up and u should dip the tissue in ice cold water every 10-15 mins so the sole won't seperate as it did......
@Arrolle23 something to do with the sun and uv lights... heats up the sea glow and makes soles really hot. when something gets hot it expands and the soles became bigger than the mid sole... result: separation. they did their best to try to cool it down with ice packs.
my pairs sole separated at the exact same spots from natural wear and tear. i suggest people just wear their stuff and enjoy it now because the glue will eventually wear out one way or another. you paid your (or your parents) hard-earned money, might as well enjoy it.
took them to a shoe shop and had them reglued, btw. still wear em like theyre brand new, pissy sole and all. peace.
I'm not surprised that the sea glow didn't work for those soles because they looked pretty yellowed. What I usually do is concentrate on the front, sides, and back of the soles since that is the part most people will see when you wear them
@willerdriller6045 We might in the future since I'm aware of that method. dcheek20 who came up with the method is part of my Sneaker Doctors group on SC Forums.
@restoremysneakers hey man, love ur guys vids but quick question, is it possible for u guys to continue with the sea glow and show some updateS? my spacejams are finally getting yellowed...kinda want to see how vast of a change would it be if iwere to sea glow.. thanks!

AA1891 10 months ago
@AA1891 There's a chance of the soles warping or the glue not sticking well when you try to reattach it.
