whats the surface temperature of that star is it between 3500 and 2500,

they say most of the energy is infrared, so would it look anything like an incandescent lightbulb filament, by comparison they are nothing to the intensity of sunlight and not as white. just wandering about that dim red glow looks to dim for something 1 third of a solar mass which from what i read would be around 5% sun luminosity.

Nobody has ever made the possibility that there might NOT be extraterrestrial life make more sense to me. ...That said, he presents some brilliant scenarios both ways, without ruling anything out. I guess he just puts it all into a perspective I hadn't bothered to imagine before.
