Yeh man, Awesome.......... I go bottle finding in the UK I let others dig and I just take what they leave behind, found Macleans stomach powder jar and Bovril and Jam etc..
I know what you mean. I used to dig for old bottles near the mill canal where I grew up in Manchester, UK. Many times I found free-blown ale and patent medicine (likely) bottles from the early 19th century. I still have a few of them. It was great fun.
i really like your videos and my dad and i are very interested in finding old bottles like these. where might we find some like yours? any suggestions? thank you.
In a small town in Hinsdale N.H. there's a small creek on the side of rt.119 heading out of Hinsdale towards Keene about 3 miles outside Hinsdale. There are Dozens of old bottles there. Many you don't even have to dig for. When I was young and lived in Hinsdale I took a couple from there. Great place to find old things. I believe it used to be where people just threw their trash.
are they worth anything??
