You still have to go through a training type of thing and it's better to have a headset or decent quality desktop microphone but it is the best version of speech recognition that Microsoft has given us and is accurate.

Here's what i don't get about Vista, i never had any problems with it at all. What people didn't take into consideration is that Vista was the first O/S with speech recognition and other new stuff so don't expect it to be perfect first time.

Mac is worth the money compared to the failure of Microsoft to provide good customer service. My Windows XP Media Center crashed on me soon after Windows Vista came out. Cannot get my Media center to reinstall. I'm not about to get Vista. I no longer wish to pay out my money to the richest man in the world. He gives his huge profits to overseas anyway.
