this song is not the version from the revence cd but from the extra cd irreverence cause there was a special edition and reverence was a double cd then.

the singer is Penny Shaw and the record is remixed by Angelo D`caruso.

It`s a late reaction but i was searching for this song cause the melody is used in a song from john grant "i wanna go to Marz"

If you close your eyes and listen to the voice, you will hear the story. It can be interpreted in anyway you want. For me, it helps me calm and focus to what I want to do. Then beat kicks in. Yeah !

I advise everybody listen to the version of this aria by Maria Callas - "L'altra notte". A powerful interpretation; this singing here rather tranqualizes me, whereas the story and the emotion of the piece isn't supposed to calm one down at all... :D
