i dont think that we should raise any more of it. i feel like it belongs down at the bottom of the ocean, because if we submerge the entire thing it will end up in a museum somewhere, which is not how it should be
And that big piece really doesn't look like that anymore. It's been cleaned and restored, to look like it dead on sailing day. It's black and polished. and that's somethin' I'm gonna remember the rest of my life.
I touched the Big Piece in Las Vegas. I cross over the Line and touched the Titanic Piece Twice. And it was really Touching & scary at the same time. I'm Like Wow. It was a section from A Cabin room and Bathroom. It was really Huge and Scale, I could only Imagine, How it might have look during sailing day. To this day, I tell my family and friends, I touched TITANIC.
*How much money gets put into this, and how it is saving history. So just shut up and stop interfering. I have detailed knowledge on a great deal of the Titanic so if anybody would like to know how her fate was not just due to an iceberg collision, and how there were a number of other very important factors involved, please ask me :)
@lukedf452gr it was there own faults because if they had hit it head on only one compartment would have flooded.i am not trying to be rude or anything because it was a tradgic occasion.
How about people claiming this is grave robbing shut the fuck up. Without raising these artefacts we would have nothing ever to remember the majestic ship by. It would just corrode for years as it already is, and would be lost to the ocean. Raising pieces of the past keeps the memory of Titanic alive. Without these artifices we would have nothing to remember her by. Mankind built her in the first place, and mankind most certainly deserves to touch her again. No body even appreciates how much mo
Im really pissed off now. everyone should leave the Titanic alone, its a graveyard for 1523, or more souls! i wish they never found the Titanic. it was resting in peace before mankind came and starting ruining it. The Titanic's final hours were beyond disasterous and i dont think it should be touched by another human again. I reckon the last human to touch it back in 1912, knowing that they were going to die should be able to have pride knowing that they were the last to touch the ship. xx
anyway, almost every piece of debris have been raised. IT SHOULD BE LEFT ALONE!!! all that debris would have been lying in the same place since April 15 1912. Its history!!!
Pause at 6:04- you can see how bad the ship is now, and it shouldn't be raised, or even touched at all.
now that ive finished my leacture that probably noone cares about (except me) :( i hope many others DO feel the same way as me. Im only 14 years old! pretty impresive speech! :) x
its not grave robbing, its saving part of history. there are artifacts from everything from ancient cultures to the civil war battle fields to pieces of the world trade centers. some people need those physical things to be reminded of what was. some people dont and that is fine, but having real artifacts to show people just makes the Titanic so much more alive, more than just a story
thats imposible no man/woman was able to go with in 400ft of the titanic becuse the oxygen leves wer way too low bexuse it sank like 3000 ft below sea level
P.S. LET THE TITANIC REST IN PEACE
its aginst the to grave rob...well there doin it leave the dead in peace :(
The big piece wasnt connected and how are you just finding out about this If you are of such interest? Not being rude just curiosity this is old news and big news at the time
This is very entertaining but according to my knowledge they are not supposed to even bring anything up from the ship that is attached.only if its around it.like cups and debris. I definitly cant wait to b the first youngest research arthur for the titanic. i am absoulutly the biggest fan of all time.and if i had a choice i would love to go back in time andb on the titanic and see if i survive or not.without titanic my life is nothing!
I'm as much of a fan of Titanic as anyone and it's really cool and amazing to see a piece of it still in tact after 100 years, but nothing of it (especially such a large part of the ship) should be brought to surface. As Eva Hart stated "the Titanic is a grave for those who have died" and should be respected.
Saw this in person when the exhibition came to Melbourne. I'd like to know what happened to that twisted section that hangs beneath it, because it sure as hell wasn't there when I saw this piece :P
I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT
si logran recuperar todas las partes del titanic posiblemente se pueda saber que fue lo que le paso seria ensencial todos estos datos que le van adar la vuelta al mundo.
@Slyth66 Maybe it's something to do with mass. AKA: small objects deteriorate faster than large ones. But even today, the big piece has to be kept in special conditions to slow deterioration. I went to the Titanic exhibit at 02 arena and the aftifacts there all had to be encased, and a thermometer and humidity guage both read really high, so it's probably really confusing.
are they desecrating the titanic? I hope that is not haunted R.I.P.

I was always told that the metal would deteriorate id raised to the surface because of the change in pressure. Why didn't it here?
