LL2 was dead when JJ left the role. Becky is the only thing that has given any of the so-called "magic" to LL2. This scene shows how incredibly awesome Becky and Steve are together. Quintesential Liason magic because both are wonderful.

ITA! The original Lucky (JJ) was a great love story with two great actors. But this new Lucky (and GV, the present one) are awful and I love Jason and Liz together. They are perfect and I wish they would give them more of a s/l together now.

Amazing how everyone says his brain can't imagine things. But at 7:01 he is seeing Elizabeth. On their NOP he said that he always wondered what life they would have had when he saw a great painting. And then at the Safe House after the fire he said that he thought about her and the life that they could have. hmmmm....Jason and Elizabeth belong together.

Lucky had been presumed dead in one of Jason's and Sonny's warehouse fires. Helene Cassidine then kidnapped Lucky and had plastic Surgery done on his face, later she brought him back to Port Charles after she had brainwashed him. Elizabeth felf so sorry for Lucky/Everyone wanted her to help him remember who he really was, and she did what she was ask to do.

Elizabeth fell in love with Jason as she has now admitted when he defended her at Jakes.

But had promised Lucky that she would always love him, so after he was supposedly killed in at fire at Sason's garage she fell in love with Jason. Then Lucky comes back from the dead and now she has a conflict of loving two men. The dead man she once loved takes preference over the man she love now. Elizabeth is bond to her true love Jason now and Lucky will be out of the picture soon.

OK -- Liz continually has to lie to Lucky to keep him happy. She can't really be herself around Lucky. However, Liz never really feels the need to lie to Jason (the Jake lie was really about everyone else wanting Lucky to be the father). She can just be herself around Jason. So let's see...she should be with Jason. He's better for her.

I agree with everyone, she really has this internal conflict going on. She keeps pulling away because she feels obligated to stay loyal to Lucky because he was there for her through the rape crisis. Liz definitely wants to be with Jason and he is very much in love with her, something he really doesn't experience with the other women he has been with except maybe Robin. She really hurts him.

Although some Jason fans regard her as Liz the Liar, to me, her behavior suggests internal conflict between pleasing and serving others and achieving an authentic, independent identity. No wonder GH has portrayed her as an artist, model, and nurse! (She needs to return to painting to regain herself.)

I believe that is why Jason and Liz compliment each other so much. What compliments them is also their downfall. They both have a high sense of loyalty. No matter who mistreats them (Jason with Sonny/Carly, Liz with Lucky) they still remain loyal to them because they cling on to the time when those people was there for them. It is also the reason that these individuals have such a great say so in Liz/Jason's life.
