@accordeure Although i circuit bend i don't really like a lot about circuit bending as a 'scene' if that makes sense. I'm inspired by industrial music over anything else really nand love to sample the hell out of things, so the 'circuit bent marching band' thing doesn't really do much for me to be honest. Anyway, glad you liked this, i guess i must be doing something right....
I'm going to try making a sequencer using a microcontroller next. If it works then all the space used for the sequencer will be free for the controls of various effects. i've just started building resonant filters so that would be one of the extras added.
@BesideTheVoid: It's just a 4017 being driven by a 555. Just before giving up selling the gear i build i did create a 16 step sequencer using a pic but have so far never tried applying this. My intention was to include an lcd based UI with some memory slots, pattern/song mode and a randomise function for the patters. I'm too busy at the moment to pursue this but i'll get back onto it at some point if i can. Getting into this hobby can take over your life. You have been warned ;)
That's really COOL to see how it goes from a simple beat with the 'homade sequencer' to a much richer world oh crazy harmonics creepely dancing in nasty circles of fire.
OK...how do I make MY DD-5n do that ?!?

Wow, nice! I just picked up a dd5 for $5 and I'm going to bend it a little, but this is next level work! Wish I had the chops to copy this.

Great stuff - came back to this vid again today and still sounds awesome! Works a treat coupled with the MPC.

To create the sequencer, did you use a PLC or something else?
