Oh my god our sussex does that too and we call it the otter act!! Fred has been thrilling people for 10 years with that trick - never gets old :P he always does it when hes got a bone or if he knows hes being watched. The others dont do it though

i have a 7 year old female sussex spaniel, she's quite the character, i sometimes can't tell if she's just unique or completely mentally challenged. but she is smart so that can't be. i'll post some videos shortly it's nice to see other videos of sussex spaniels on here because i surely never see any around town.
I've been to Sussex..in the summer.. best place I have ever been to in my life.

my sussex spaniel does that too! they look so alike cos they are all inbred! does he get ear problems?

lovely sussex. we have some sussex theyre lovely but they all have lovely characters ive grown up with them.
