  • Any tips on using the d90? This is the best footage Ive seen on utube that isn't CC'd to death. The footage makes the d90 look like its got alot of latitude, which it aint. I don't know if thats because alot of the shots seem to have been exposured correctly. Looks great. No jello really either, did you use anything to keep it steady?

  • Thanks. We spent a lot of time getting it right "in camera," the only CC we did was a subtle warm tint and contrast adjustment. The lighting really helped (overcast day), and we used a tripod for everything (The few shots that look handheld were done in Post. Thus, no jello). 90% of this was shot on a 20mm 2.8D (Amazing lens BTW, highly recommended) and the rest was shot with the kit lens.

  • Awesome! love the exploding car.

  • You should really be using Vimeo to post vids. Their whole system is just...better. Higher quality by default, much better interface controls and fullscreen viewing.

  • Excellent work, Mr. Lam. I assume this was based loosely off that time Jason thought he locked you guys out of his car...

    Nice use of music, too!

  • Naw. The entire concept pretty much came from my freind Alex, hence the screenplay credit. Although, come to think of it, we actually did almost lock ourselves out during the shoot. (We unwisely decided to use the real car keys for the prop car keys.)

Anyway, thanks for the comment. The page was looking so sad with zero responses.

PS: The posters I sent you much make more sense now, no?
