Last summern there was Gulshat Gurdova and Kerim Ylyasov. I am sure this summer they will do something like that.

What is the name of this dance and does it have any special history or significance?

We can roughly translate it as "Running Horses"... of course that is not its literal meaning....

Horses are an integral part Turkmen Nomads, and as such there many many songs and dances around this magnificent animal

Although Turkmen ladies have an unparallel beauty, My fellow Turkmen men are better dancer. I guess it is the energy and vigor in Turkmen men that makes us better dancers

just buy satellite antenne and watch Turkmenistan, Altyn Asyr channel, every day you can find there nice concerts.
