That brings back fond memories, I had a '78 with 3.1 Burton lump on full Janspeed system. Go to be one of the best sounding cars I've owned. I've got an XKR on a full Milltek system now but the eight still struggle to match the sweetness of the V6.

I remember it well, my W reg 1980 Forest Green 3.0S, Great torque, lovely sound and a MASSIVE gap between 3rd and 4th gear!!! 4 speed box.. those were the days eh!

@hanver8 Could you tell me why? How should children get to know the typical "capri sound". By looking at it? As it stands in line at a capri meeting? I was very happy that 30 years ago my neighbour gave his 2.3S capri some throttle now and then.
