I totally thought the other Zegrid commercial also said "Wassup, niggas?" I was blown away. I had other people come into the room and replayed the commercial over and over and that's what we all heard. I did a little research and found that he is actually saying "Sam Higgins?" Still, I can't believe the advertisers didn't catch that.

Okay, I just got blown away: Zegerid has a new commercial, where two guys (representing Zegerid, wearing dark t-shirts) go up to a guy's door and knock; the guy answers and it sounded like "Wassup, niggas?" That was enough to spin my head rapidly towards the TV. I hope we haven't gotten that casual with slang on TV!

If they really wanted to sell this product, maybe they should have used a guy with a chest to brag about. A kick ass chest to subliminally suggest that Zegerid really kicks ass.

Each time I see the blandness of the chest on this guy it really distracts me from the purpose of the commercial itself.

Of course, in daily life (away from the commercial), I did see his face, I'd do him LOL

Ick! Ick! Initial conception not so bad- final execution not so good- what's with the 'artist' flaccid physique (not that everyone need be ripped- but, my goodness- no definition atTALL!!)

@criscokiddo That torso doesn't appears to belong to the speaking actor. They choose a less defined torso so that the art would pop more. The images would look odd painted on a 6 pack vs a smoother (flaccid, LWOL) surface. :)

@TSearcy Appreciate your respectful thoughtful reply- makes good sense....still, though leaves me with 'icky sickly' impression (but guess that's just me :) btw- loved EFC myself- one of the best shows over which Roddenberry never had creative control.
