Man! This game looks AWESOME! I've seen things like this in Crysis, but I never thought Crytek would think of making a game like that for PS3! This definitely just got onto my list of games to get!

@DJhedgehammer crysis 1 wouldnt work on ps3 not enough memory for all the trees, destructible buildings etc. Hence the reason crysis 2 is set in new york with barely any trees and as far as im aware the ydont interact with the player at all when you brush up against them/shoot them

@WhichWayGames you compared crysis 1 on consoles to pc, the lighting is crap (bloom rape) on consoles, the view distance is shite, they have half the amount of trees, the textures are lower res, oh and they couldnt have the multiplayer from the pc version.......not enough memory. So I was still right the "same" crysis on pc isn't possible on consoles. Go find a comparison video......

@calumknight1984 It's true. Crysis 1 doesn't look very good on my PS3, but I was told that it'd cost me over a grand to make a pc that could run Crysis on ultra settings. I just don't have cash anywhere near that being in college. At the end, its playable, so I like it... Just my opinion. What do you think as far as making gaming pc that could handle it?

@lilman227 mine runs it perfectly and it cost £600-700 (if i shopped around for deals a bit and was more patient it would've been much lower). Don't forget it would've cost a grand to run it on high when it first came out, not now (the games graphics engine was ridiculously advanced when it was released even high end pc's couldn't run it perfect)

i think alot of people undermine ps3's physics and graphics capabilities but forget the b.e has advanced graphics and physics capabilities that in my honest opinion can match anything so far that pc can throw at ps3.

if u want play good custom maps then go try "where eagles dare" "hallow town" and "the bridge assault" the maps are on ps3 version search buy map names. and i will promise that you will not be dispointet. see you online

what i do is place abunch of explosive barrels then place normal barrels on top and they all go flying plus you could put so many normal barrels

i have a problem with my far cry 2 on my ps3. when i play it i can see the textures go crazy and it really bugs me a lot. its from grass to character textures where i can see a movein texture stick or what i should call it anyway it goes right up the sky or it just goes crazy. i can post a video here but hope someone can help me coz i really wanna play this game and i love it tho :( help me

yea that right i got this game for the xbox 360 and when u make all those huge explosions with barrels n stuff it stays at its top frame rate. not 1 drop. infact i dont think i have seen 1 frame rate drop from the game AT ALL on campaign online or map editor and seriously my maps are rediculous(too dense and would be impossible to fight in lol)
