UPS Airlines Boeing 757-200 Short Field Take Off Albany International Airport

One of your UPS 757's flies here to Syracuse in the early morning hours. We are almost like the Upstate New York Sorting Facility. We have a flight from Buffalo and Albany in the morning. One stays throughout the day and the other goes on to their hub in Louisville.

@airlinefoodprez25 It was before the extension. I was filming on Sicker Road. Watch my Air Force One vid, the 747 taxid all the way to the end of the runway. I was filming from the same spot as this, and Air Force One started the takeoff considerably farther. That's cool!

Is Albany a small airport?

Depends on what you mean by small. The terminal I'd say is very small for an international airport. It's not usually too crowded, and the biggest comercial aircraft that normally comes in is a United A320. However, the runway is long enough to handel most jets including Boeing 747s, and the airport is equipt to handel them. The terminal is pretty small though.

Yeah, I read your other comment that you deleted, then I permanently deleted. haha It's a VERY nice airport! From what I've heard, Southwest you can't really go wrong with, but air travel is always like a box of chocolates!

a fun place to go is right by the 757 when there loading it but they blocked it off so its kinda hard to do

Yeah, pretty much. The UPS actually leaves past 8:30. The FedEx flies over my house almst every night!! haha

Good eye!! And yes!! I here it Mondays-Fridays at 10:00 PM going over my house. LOVE THE SOUND!!! Apparently, FedEx is replacing these with 757s in the future, which is understandable, but for me a huge bummer. I'm going to miss it, as this is the only airline to bring the 727s to Albany Intl.

haha YEAH! I relized my dad took me their when I was little, and forgot about this spot. This is perfect for watching the cargo jets takeoff!
