  • "I don't go around in the shop telling you how to make license plates".

    Epic.

  • We have for you the finest blues musician alive.....in our price range. So put your hands together and keep 'em where we can see 'em for Mr Calhoun Tubbs! LOL

  • This is so funny. I love Jim Carreys' character. "Alright, dirt bags. This is my final warnin'. Settle down or there'll be no showering with the lights off." LOL His facial expression is so funny after he says that.

  • AAAAAHHHHHAAAAAAAA im dyin every time

  • I listen this ALL DAY rather than Lil Wayne.

  • calhoun tubbs the best lol.

  • When he sings the last song, he almost cracks up. :D

  • another standing ovation lol

  • calhoun be jammin, lol

  • Its great be in the prison. But thats because I get to go home!!!

    #Crackinup!

  • Man this show used to be funny. It got out of hand when Jim Carrey became the focus of the show though. His brand of humor is fun in short bursts, but quickly becomes annoying. It's too bad though. There was a lot of talent in the ILC cast.

  • @wlmason73 Sometimes Jim Carrey can be funny when he's witty or clever, but I don't particularly care for the slapstick or silly humor either.

  • I like the way the warden was nodding his head and stomping his foot on the first song. Too funny.

  • 3:10 you can tell he wanted to laugh lol

  • OMG I havent seen this in years. I love this skit lol

  • While ya locked up in cages I'm spanking and spanking ya wives and daughters.... *prison crowd attacks* LOL!

  • @madammelva hahahahahaha even he couldn't keep from laughing at that one hahaha.

  • lmao even he couldn't keep from laughing a few times

  • @misterlestrade

I know right? He's in an episode of "Martin" where he plays a jack legged preacher and in a few scenes, he makes his performances even funnier because he can't stop from laughing himself.

  • Thumbs up if you think the high pitched AHHHHAAAAAA sounds funnier

  • like to hear it hea it go... LOL

  • ahhhhhh haaaa!!!!!

  • Another standing ovation. LOL

  • lololololol aw man he ripped it at the end lolol. you see how he couldn't contain his laughter.

  • They call me Mr. Tubbs! haha Nobody got that!?

  • Sidnet Poitier. "They call me Mr. Tibbs"

  • @MrKokujin i just said that. i'm glad i took to time to see if anybody else mentioned it, so i make sure smart comments come up.

  • While ya's locked up in cages I'm spanking and spanking yer wifes and daughters!

  • Wrote a song bout it, like to hear it here it go.

  • Now that was a comedy show. It hasn't been matched even today (Chappelle comes prettty close). It's a mystery to me why non of the characters were ever made into movies. You cannot possible tell me those corny head bobbing guys in SNL can even hold a candle to the home boys shopping network (mo' money doesn't count).

My fav is the "poetry from the hood". Can't seem to find that clip, but I almost died when J foxx was reciting Ice cube, "two in the morning I got a fat buaaager" lol

  • @mythcontrolpill so true man. These characters should be made into movies.

  • @Bloodsport1 I agree,Firemarshal Bill & Wanda would come to mind?

  • AAHHHHHHHHHH HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! lmao

  • Christ Grier and Carrey were/are nuts and very funny.

  • i have all the sesons of in living color except seson 5

  • "Ya'll be back in prison in no time flatttt. Just like Todd Bridges. Ahhhhh haaa haaaa! Thank you very much. LMAO!!

    @RGmv101

Thank you very much for uploading this.

  • This came on last night. If it weren't for Centric, I'd never be able to watch my shows every night!!! The '90s were good times : )

  • 1:17 "Wave ya handcuffs in the air and and wave em like ya just dont care"....funny shizz

  • "Settle down or there'll be nooo SHOWERING with the lights off!"

    LMAO. XD

  • what did he say at 1:37

  • @XrisSmiles He loved his fellow man, on whole wheat and lettuce. Like he was a cannibal.

  • @Intesivecarebear awww, thats funny

  • my very favorite Calhoun Tubbs thank you so for posting

  • DAG is funny as a sketch artist or as a cameo in comedic films....but he sucks ass as a stand up comedian!

  • Oh wow, Jim carrey is the warden from Cool Hand Luke

  • while your locked up in cages im spanking and spanking your wives and daughters....hahahaha its funnier cause david was laughing lmao

  • @crh2010 LMAO....I caught that too. Shit like that makes comedy what it is. Haha...EXCELLENT!

  • "They call me Mr. Tubbs!" I miss this show. :-((

  • It's great to be here in prison, that's because i get to go home..LMAO..David is hilarious, and a Yale man

  • like da head here go! yall be back in prison in no time flat, jus like todd richards. aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

  • @dariangage Todd Bridges of Different Stokes fame

  • "......While ya locked up in cages I'm spankin and spankin wives and daughters...."

  • In Living Color was totally underrated and they brought a crappy show (madtv) to replace it, ahhhhhaaaeeee!

  • @tftmc Mad TV was the spirtual successor to In Living Color, ten times more funnier than SNL, the real crappy show I might add.

  • @sideburn260 I wouldn't call MadTV the spiritual successor of In Living Color. In Living Color was a Waynes project, with great talent on board, writing and acting.

MadTV however was a borrowed name & operated through Quincy Jones. The 1st 2 seasons of MadTV writers were given creative freedom, it showed & was actually funny. After that Quincy systematically fired the best talent on the show. It became stale.

In Living Color's nearest 'successor' came 10 years later with Chappelle's Show.

  • @sideburn260 Chapelle's show was edgy, funny, and primarily a "social satire" sketch comedy show through the eyes of a smart and funny black man in America.

Sound familiar? The mastermind behind In Living Color was Keenan Ivory Wayans, a funny & intelligent black man, and his 583 brothers and sisters, lol.

But I've always liked SNL, with the exception of the mid-80s (when Loren Michaels ran off to Canada on a coke binge) and the 95 season. It's the offspring of Second City (school, not show)

  • lol

  • It would be interesting if you had Oswalt Bates in the audience!

  • He starts giggling at 3:14. He loves playing him.

  • @imaboutit im spanking and spanking your daughter, lmfao

  • @BenjaminT16 You can say what you want cause I don't have kids, homie. lol

  • Calhoun Tubbs is the BEST. He is my favorite character on In Living Color. David Alan Greer is a genius. Thank you very much.

  • @SvenLundergard Classic, Total, Classic!!!

  • @SvenLundergard Lmao yes him and Fire Marshall Bill

  • @SvenLundergard David Alan Greer is a genius. I totally agree.

  • does say about the inmate at 1:35??? I dont get what he said

  • He said "That inmate over there loves his fellow man on whole wheat and lettuce".

  • @ikickknowledge

HE SAID THAT INMATE LOVE HIS FELLOW MAN...ON WHOLE WHEAT AND LETTUCE LOL

  • yall ain't had no sex in 15 years, at least not with no real women. ahhhhhhhhaaaaaaaa! thank you very much!

  • @79RAYJAY Alice In Chains use that line on their Unplugged cd:D

  • Cuz I get to go home lol never gets old

  • bacall35 I'm with you on your comment.

  • Wave your ankles in the air. HA! Pretend like ya just don't care. Hilarious. I luv Calhoun Tubbs. He was the best thing about In Living Color.

  • @bacoll35 Handscuffs, not ankles.... still funny though.

  • Shawn Wayons and Jamie Foxx are the vocal inmates. Notice inmate Foxx get all "swole" challenging Calhoun Tubbs? Funny stuff!

  • Great skit!! FYI: "that inmate over there loved his fellow man, on whole wheat and lettuce...aaaahaaa!". "What we have here is a failure to communicate"--memorable line from movie classic "Cool Hand Luke" featuring Paul Newman. "They call me Mister Tubbs" memorable line from movie classic "In the Heat of the Night" featuring Sidney Poitier.
