  • Il est dommage que Caballé n'ait pas chanté ce rôle plus tôt: en 87 c'est déjà tard. Quant à Merrit, je l'ai trouvé toujours impressionnant en scène, mais plus impressionnant qu'orthodoxe. Blake, avec moins de volume et un timbre plus ingrat est mille plus fois plus rossinien

  • Not young, a very difficult score for her : but Caballé is able to give a good rendition. Her voice, even damaged, is still a great voice and a beautiful one.
